Este estudo tem por objetivo, compartilhar uma experiência bem-sucedida do uso do aplicativo WhatsApp® como recurso terapêutico e pedagógico para a educação em saúde. O recurso foi utilizado em um acompanhamento de grupo de cessação do tabagismo no cenário da pandemia da COVID-19 no contexto da Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). Trata-se de um relato de experiência, desenvolvido entre os meses de junho a dezembro de 2020 em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) do interior de Minas Gerias. Por meio de um grupo que contou com a participação de 10 fumantes, abstendo do uso de terapia medicamentosa e utilizando de estratégias aplicadas via WhatsApp®, foi possível aos profissionais intervir no controle e/ou cessão de fumo de 80% dos usuários. Logo, as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs) na assistência e na educação em saúde, podem ser ferramentas complementares na prática profissional para mudanças comportamentais que favorecem a qualidade de vida e prevenção de danos, como os causados pela COVID-19.
Este estudo tem por objetivo, reunir e analisar evidências sobre as mudanças do trabalho home office no sistema musculoesquelético durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática da literatura que foi conduzida pela Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions e relatada de acordo com a declaração Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), realizada nas bases de dados PubMed, Scopus, Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), Web of Science e Science Direct. A pergunta da pesquisa foi: Quais as repercussões do trabalho teletrabalho na pandemia da COVID-19 no sistema musculoesquelético? Foram encontrados um total de 16 estudos sendo que após análise, foram incluídos neste trabalho cinco estudos. Dentre os estudos analisados, observou-se que as repercussões do trabalho teletrabalho na pandemia da COVID-19 no sistema musculoesquelético suas maiores ocorrências de sintomas musculoesqueléticos foram nas seguintes regiões corporais: dores nas costas, pescoço, ombro e mãos e no sexo feminino. Sugere novos estudos futuros e de melhor nível na qualidade de evidência são necessários para se identificar os resultados e fortalecer as investigações na temática envolvida.
Este estudo tem por objetivo, descrever os hábitos posturais inadequados e presença de dor em adolescentes escolares. Foi realizado um estudo transversal, exploratório, descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa. A amostra foi de 74 adolescentes, de 10 a 19 anos. A coleta de dados foi feita através da aplicação do Teste BackPEI (Back Pain and Body Posture Evaluation Instrument). A análise dos dados revelou a ocorrência de hábitos de posturas inadequadas nas atividades como ao ler na cama, ao sentar à mesa para escrever ou para conversar, ao utilizar o computador, ao pegar objetos no chão. A presença de dor esteve possivelmente associada às posturas inadequadas. Os resultados sugerem uma urgente necessidade do desenvolvimento de programas educativos e preventivos no âmbito escolar para a promoção e prevenção de dores corporais e hábitos posturais inadequados em adolescentes.
O aumento da longevidade tende a elevar consideravelmente o percentual da população idosa no país, estimulando o desenvolvimento de estudos que permitam compreender fatores colaborativos a um envelhecimento saudável e ativo. O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar a influência de um programa de exercício físico na qualidade de vida (QV) em idosos de um projeto de extensão da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais Unidade Divinópolis. Trata-se de um estudo analítico longitudinal tipo “antes e depois”, em que foram registrados os dados de um grupo de indivíduos utilizando questionário específico e validado para essa finalidade. Foi aplicado o questionário WHOQOL-OLD, que é estruturado em 24 questões fechadas, do tipo escala de likert de cinco pontos e dividido em seis facetas: Funcionamento Sensório (FS); Autonomia (AUT); Atividades passadas, presentes e futuras (PPF); Participação Social (PSO); Morte ou Morrer (MM); Intimidade (INT). Os principais resultados indicam que atividades físicas contribuem na manutenção da QV do idoso; o tipo de exercício não possui influência na perspectiva da QV; a socialização tende a contribuir na QV mediante a sensação de companheirismo e reconhecimento; o aumento da idade tende a afastar o idoso da prática de exercícios gerando ociosidade e perda de QV. Conclui-se que a prática regular de exercícios físicos desenvolvidos coletivamente tende a apresentar no médio/longo prazo respostas favorável quanto aos aspectos psíquicos, físicos e sociais do idoso, e consequentemente em sua QV.
Este estudo tem por objetivo, reunir e analisar evidências sobre as ações da fisioterapia aplicadas na atenção primária com finalidade finalidade de prevenir o risco de queda em idosos. Trata-se uma revisão sistemática, protocolada no PROSPERO, realizada nas bases de dados BVS, PEDro e Scielo. Utilizou-se o Guideline Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviewsand Meta-Analyses - The PRISMA Statement. A pergunta da pesquisa foi: quais são as ações e intervenções da fisioterapia que são aplicadas na atenção primária para prevenir o risco de quedas em idosos? Foram encontrados um total de 85 estudos, sendo que, após a análise, foram incluídos neste trabalho sete estudos. Foi possível verificar a diversidade de ocorrência dos estudos no seu continente de publicação, sendo eles: América do Sul (n=3), Europa (n=2), Oceania (n=1) e Ásia (n=1). Quanto ao nível de evidência, a maioria (n=4) foi de nível 2 e apenas três (n=3) com nível de evidência 3. Houve um consenso de que a aplicabilidade de medidas preventivas na atenção primária à saúde foi eficaz na redução de risco de quedas de idosos, porém não houve consenso na utilização de protocolo específico. A implementação de programas de treino e exercícios específicos realizados na atenção primária à saúde tem impacto significativo na melhora do equilíbrio, força muscular, propriocepção, capacidade funcional e qualidade de vida dos idosos, assumindo um papel de relevância na prevenção de quedas.
