Mechanisms of regulation of cardiac rhythm have many individual features, which are conditioned by age, sex, training of the organism, strength and nature of external influence, constitutional features of the organism. The purpose of the work is to determine the relationship between cardiointervalographic indices and parameters of the external structure of the body in highly skilled wrestlers of the mesomorphic somatotype. The study involved 24 wrestlers between the ages of 17 and 21 with a high level of sportsmanship and more than 3 years of experience. All of the wrestlers were of medium weight and engaged in free and Greco-Roman wrestling. We conducted a study of heart rate variability on the cardiac computer diagnostic complex “OPTW” following the recommendations of the European and North American Cardiac Association (1996). The indices of vegetative homeostasis according to Bayevsky, variational heart rate, statistical and spectral cardiointervalographic indicators were determined. Anthropometry was performed according to the method of V.V. Bunak (1941), somatotypological study – by the calculated modification of the Heath-Carter method (1990), determination of the component composition of body weight by the method of Matejko (1992). In the package “STATISTICA 5.5” correlation analysis was performed using the nonparametric Spearman statistical method. It was found that in the wrestlers of the mesomorphic somatotype, the variations of the pulsometry had the highest number and strength of reliable correlations with constitutional parameters, most of which were inverse of the mean force. All statistical indicators of heart rate variability with indicators of the external structure of the body had only inverse significant correlations. The least significant correlations were found for spectral indices and parameters of vegetative homeostasis. According to the results of the correlation analysis in the wrestlers of the mesomorphic somatotype, we can assume that with the increase of total, longitudinal, circumferential, transverse body sizes and muscle and bone mass, the variability of the heart rhythm of the sympathetic department of the autonomic nervous system will be more pronounced.
Determining the indicators of the external body structure, which are inherent in highly qualified athletes of a particular sport during the annual training macrocycle, can be reliable markers in sports selection. The aim of the work is to determine the differences of anthropometric dimensions in qualified young women volleyball players at the beginning of the preparatory period and at the end of the competitive period of the annual training cycle. We examined 36 young women volleyball players of the section of sports improvement of National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya and the women’s volleyball team of the Super League of Ukraine “Bilozgar – Medical University”. All volleyball players belonged to a juvenile age (from 16 to 20 years) and had a high level of sportsmanship. We conducted two surveys of volleyball players during the 2018-2019 study year: the first – in September 2018, which corresponded to the beginning of the preparatory period of the annual training cycle; the second – in May 2019, which was at the end of the competitive period of the annual training cycle. Anthropometric measurement was performed by the method of V.V. Bunak (1941). The analysis of the obtained results was performed in the license package “Statistica 5.5” using non-parametric methods of evaluation of indicators. At the end of the competition period, compared to the preparatory training period, volleyball players of high level of sportsmanship in adolescence showed a statistically significant decrease in body weight with a significant increase in shoulder width, chest circumference on inspiration, thighs and crus in the upper third, and a tendency to larger values of the height of the suprasternal and shoulder points, torso length and transverse mid-chest diameter. Certain somatometric features of volleyball players can be considered from two aspects: first, as a consequence of qualified prognostic sports selection, and secondly, as a result of training and competitive sports activities. Analysis of external body parameters in volleyball players during the annual macrocycle can be used as criteria for ascertaining sports selection, because when selecting at the stages of advanced specialization it is necessary to identify athletes capable of achieving high sports results, effective sports improvement in subsequent stages of training.
The factor of sexual dimorphism is dominant in the ontogenetic formation of various organs and systems, in particular the respiratory organs, whose morpho-functional indicators have significant sex differences. The aim of this work is to establish the sex characteristics of spirographic normative indices in practically healthy young men and young women within the juvenile ontogeny period. Spirographic examination of 109 young women of the ontogeny adolescence was performed, including: 17-year-olds – 29; 18-year-olds – 27; 19-year-olds – 25; 20-year-olds – 28 people and 124 young men, including: 17-year-olds – 28; 18-year-olds – 37; 19-year-olds – 27; 20-year-olds – 32 people. Spirographic examination was performed according to the method of the American Association of Pulmonologists (1995) on the device Medgraphics Pulmonary Function System 1070 series. The analysis of the obtained results was carried out with the help of the licensing program “Statistica 5.5” using non-parametric methods of estimation of indicators. It is established that the indicators of vital capacity of lungs, forced vital capacity, forced capacity of lungs on inhalation, maximal voluntary ventilation, forced expiratory flow rate respectively of 25 % of forced vital capacity, maximum peak expiratory flow, inspiratory capacity, expiratory reserve volume and one-second forced exhalation volume in young men each calendar year and the general group is significantly higher compared to the corresponding years of ontogeny in young women. The only spirometric indicator that is significantly higher for young women than for young men is the Tiffno Index. The revealed sex differences in the magnitude of spirometric parameters can be explained by the significant somatometric differences between the male and female body. Based on the results obtained, we can conclude that the vast majority of spirometric parameters in young men in all calendar periods of adolescence have higher rates than in young women. The most significant gender differences in the majority of spirometric parameters were identified in 18-year-olds.
The harmony of the organism development in different periods of ontogenesis, and especially puberty, determines the future fate of women in both medical and social aspects. The aim of the research was to study the total and partial body sizes in girls of pubertal period of ontogenesis. We surveyed 128 schoolgirls of 5-8 grades. We evaluated the stages of development of secondary sexual characteristics by hair growth in the axilla and pubis, the development of the mammary glands and age of onset of the first menstruation. According to G.G. Avtandilov’s classification, all girls were divided into three groups – prepubertal (preceding the appearance of pubic hair), pubertal (puberty before menarche) and postpubertal period (fixed and completed pubertal maturation). The group of pubertal girls consisted of 106 schoolgirls, who were divided into groups according to calendar age: 13-year-old (n=29), 12-year-old (n=30), 11-year-old (n=24) and 10-year-old (n=23). Anthropometric survey was conducted according to the scheme of V.V. Bunak and contained the definition of total (length and body weight) and partial (longitudinal, transverse and anterior-posterior) dimensions. The analysis of the obtained results was performed in the license package Statistica 5.5 using non-parametric methods of evaluation of indicators. In our study, it was found that anthropometric indicators characterize the physical development, the level of its harmony and morphofunctional maturity of girls within the pubertal period of ontogenesis. We found a progressive age dynamics of total and partial body size in girls of this age period. The periods of the most intensive growth within the pubertal period of ontogenesis of total and partial sizes of a body are established. At the end of puberty there is the most intense age increase in body length: a rapid increase in body weight begins at the age of 12, the most intense processes of longitudinal growth of the torso and lower extremities in girls are observed from 11 years. Most of the transverse dimensions within the pubertal period of ontogenesis have a pronounced progressive age dynamic. Lower thoracic size, interspinous distance, and external conjugate did not differ statistically significantly between girls of different ages during puberty.
