El artículo plantea una serie de reflexiones acerca de las "pantallas", recuperando cuestiones previamente trabajadas en distintos espacios y momentos disciplinares. Se interroga a la pantalla desde diversas genealogías intentando deslindar los efectos específicos de sentido que, en tanto dispositivo, produjo en las representaciones e imaginarios públicos y privados en la historia social de Occidente. Propone ubicar el examen de estas cuestiones en el marco de una disciplina aún en formación, la protosemiótica.
Dans la Semiosis social 2, Eliseo Verón revisite les notions fondamentales de la sémiotique en reformulant la question de l’origine et du changement dans la sémiose de l’Homo sapiens et la question de la médiatisation qui configurent une topique centrée sur l’écoulement du temps. Ainsi, le fait que l’origine et le changement soient développés d’un point de vue historique donne lieu à des hypothèses discursives précises dans différents domaines. Oscar Traversa montre que ces idées étaient déjà présentes ou esquissées dans l’œuvre de Verón et plus particulièrement entre La Sémiosis sociale (1987) et La Semiosis social 2 (2013). Pour mener à bien cette synthèse, Verón assigne aux notions contemporaines du darwinisme et aux théories de la complexité un espace singulier qui mérite ici d’être commenté.
