El objetivo del presente estudio fue conocer la percepción del estudiantado acerca de las prácticas pedagógicas que favorecen u obstaculizan la inclusión educativa en el aula de Educación Física. Además, develar las creencias del profesorado de Educación Física sobre la inclusión educativa. El estudio posee un alcance exploratorio-descriptivo y utiliza un método mixto. Los participantes fueron seleccionados en forma intencionada y corresponde a 163 estudiantes que cursan sétimo y octavo año de educación básica y 7 profesores de Educación Física pertenecientes a establecimientos escolares de las comunas de Temuco y Los Ángeles, Chile. Los instrumentos de recolección de información utilizados fueron un cuestionario de valoración de prácticas inclusivas, aplicado al estudiantado, y entrevistas en profundidad aplicadas al profesorado de Educación Física. Los resultados indican que se advierten como factores que favorecen la inclusión en el aula de Educación Física las habilidades personales del profesorado, la clase como un ambiente que beneficia las relaciones. Como factores obstaculizadores surgen la homogeneidad de actividades, la constante competición y la heteroevaluación como principal medio para evaluar el logro de aprendizajes del estudiantado.Abstract. The aim of the present investigation was to analyze students’ perception of the practices that favor or obstruct educational inclusion in Physical Education settings. Also, to inquire about teachers’ beliefs on the subject. The study has an exploratory-descriptive scope and uses a mixed method. Participants included were 163 students in the 7th and 8th grade of the Temuco and Los Angeles, Chile, and 7 teachers of Physical Education at all levels, all of whom were intentionally selected. The instruments of data collection were a questionnaire of inclusive practices, and in-depth interviews. Factors that favor inclusion include physical education teachers’ personal skills, and the class as an environment that benefits relationships. As a hindrance factor, homogeneity of activities arises, constant competition, and hetero-evaluation as the main means to evaluate the achievement of students' learning.
Chile's increasing migration phenomenon, added to the ethnic and cultural diversity of the territory, challenges school leaders to rethink educational stages that fortify the processes of inclusion and social justice. In this context, the aim of this article is to describe the representations of senior teachers about the inclusion of migrant students in schools in La Araucanía region, Chile. The research uses an assorted method and has a descriptive coverage. The participants are 79 directors of schools and high-schools subsidized by the State. The results evidence that school leaders assume school inclusion from a technical approach and develop practices mainly focused on accomplish with the regulations of the Inclusion Law, above the implementation of practices aimed to assist the professional development of teachers and student´s learning. The conclusions highlight the need to move towards more inclusive and critical leaderships, capable of influencing practices based on the recognition and assessment of student´s differences as an opportunity to assist the teaching-learning process and promote professional teacher development.
Liderar la transformación educativa desafía a repensar la práctica pedagógica desde la comprensión profunda de aprendizaje y evaluación como un solo proceso formativo. El objetivo del artículo es describir el proceso de construcción y validación de un instrumento que busca indagar en la percepción que tienen los estudiantes sobre la cultura de evaluación como aprendizaje. Es un estudio de carácter exploratorio y descriptivo, participan del proceso de validación 505 estudiantes de educación primaria y secundaria de la región de La Araucanía, Chile. La validez de contenido del instrumento se desarrolló mediante el juicio de expertos. Por otro lado, la confiabilidad se determinó con el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach y el indicador Omega de McDonald, mientras que el análisis de constructo contempló la aplicación de modelos de análisis factorial exploratorio, confirmatorio y de ecuaciones estructurales. Los resultados permitieron definir una escala constituida por tres factores: cultura de autoevaluación, cultura de colaboración y cultura tecnológica de aprendizaje. El instrumento demostró cumplir con las garantías y rigurosidad estadística para su aplicación en el sistema escolar. Se concluye que este instrumento aporta a la discusión sobre la integración de la evaluación y el aprendizaje como un solo constructo. El instrumento contribuye a la resignificación de las prácticas evaluativas, al ofrecer un referente que propicia la autoevaluación y reflexión sobre las oportunidades de aprendizaje profundo que se promueven en las escuelas del siglo XXI.
Se describe una estrategia de acompañamiento a diez redes de líderes escolares y su efecto en el desarrollo de capacidades directivas, las prácticas de liderazgo y la cultura de aprendizaje, desde la valoración de sus integrantes. Es un estudio mixto de alcance descriptivo. Los participantes son 139 directivos pertenecientes a diez redes de La Araucanía, Chile, acompañados durante dos años y medio por “amigos críticos” de un Centro de Liderazgo Educativo. Las técnicas de recolección de información fueron un cuestionario Likert (pre y post) y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Los resultados indican que los directivos escolares aumentan significativamente su valoración respecto al trabajo en red, y lo reconocen como una estrategia que permite reflexionar sobre sus prácticas de liderazgo y aprender colaborativamente en ambientes de confianza y simetría profesional. Asimismo, valoran al “amigo crítico” como un actor educativo que orienta la transformación de las redes en comunidades profesionales de aprendizaje.
El objetivo del artículo consiste en exponer y contextualizar la experiencia desarrollada por la persona líder intermedia en la transformación de las prácticas de liderazgo pedagógico del personal directivo escolar en la región de La Araucanía, Chile. Este trabajo se suscribe a un estudio de caso que utiliza una metodología cualitativa de carácter descriptiva. En total participaron 6 profesionales: 3 personas directoras escolares y 3 jefas de la Unidad Técnico Pedagógica. El desarrollo de este estudio se dividió en tres fases: 1) cuestionamiento para la discusión de los nudos críticos, 2) acompañamiento de la ruta de aprendizaje para transformar las prácticas de liderazgo pedagógico, y 3) reflexión crítica y desafíos profesionales. Los resultados señalan que la persona líder intermedia influenció de manera positiva en los modos de liderar el desarrollo profesional docente y aprendizaje del alumnado, especialmente cuando se impulsa de forma colaborativa espacios sistemáticos de cuestionamiento, de reflexión y de mejoramiento in situ sobre la propia práctica de liderazgo pedagógico. A modo de conclusión, desarrollar prácticas de liderazgo intermedio desde un aprender en conjunto y tomando decisiones compartidas desde problemas reales de liderazgo pedagógico, favorece la influencia en las transformaciones de las prácticas de liderazgo pedagógico.
