La funcionalidad familiar y variables clínicas se encuentra relacionada directamente con el desarrollo de los adolescentes, sin embargo, el sistema educativo ha otorgado poca importancia a su intervención, lo que limita el correcto desarrollo de los adolescentes no solo en su dinámica familiar si no también dentro varios contextos en los que se desarrolla la persona. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar la funcionalidad familiar y su relación con variables clínicas, mediante un análisis descriptivo, correlacional, transversal de tipo probabilístico, donde se manejó una muestra de 317 adolescentes. El análisis estadístico muestra que el 85.5% son mujeres, el promedio de edad es de 14.31 años, el 74.4% residen en la zona urbana, el 52.4% de los evaluados estudia bachillerato, el 95.9% no posee discapacidad, la religión católica prevalece con el 88.3%. La muestra se encuentra constituida con más prevalencia por familias moderadamente funcionales con 41.3%, cohesión en el nivel alto es el área más prevalente de este constructo con un 68.8%; en variables clínicas prevalece el nivel de anormal con el 42,9% y su área prevalente es síntomas emocionales con el 29.28% de la muestra. Problemas de conducta y afectividad poseen una correlación lineal estadísticamente significativa de -0.174.
Las modalidades de educación y su relación con los resultados de aprendizaje, han sido motivo de análisis de todas las instituciones de educación superior en el mundo en diferentes tiempos de gestión autoridades. El estudio que se muestra en este documento, propone analizar la modalidad de la educación virtual y su incidencia en los resultados académicos obtenidos por los estudiantes considerando la continuidad educativa a través de medios electrónicos y el acceso a la información, para lo cual se han examinado fuentes de información bibliográfica de impacto con dirección a las variables de estudio y la recopilación de datos a través de la encuesta estructurada aplicando un enfoque metodológico cualitativo descriptivo. Los resultados obtenidos señalan como el futuro inmediato de la educación profesional a la modalidad virtual en función de variables psicológicas incentivadas por la motivación y satisfacción en los procesos académicos para la mejora en el rendimiento académico superior; se concluye luego de la investigación que existen factores independientes que coadyuvan a que los resultados obtenidos tanto por docentes como por estudiantes en la educación en línea sean positivos para unos casos y negativos para otros; siendo el autoconocimiento un importante criterio a ser implementado como mejora a dicho rendimiento académico.
