La funcionalidad familiar y variables clínicas se encuentra relacionada directamente con el desarrollo de los adolescentes, sin embargo, el sistema educativo ha otorgado poca importancia a su intervención, lo que limita el correcto desarrollo de los adolescentes no solo en su dinámica familiar si no también dentro varios contextos en los que se desarrolla la persona. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar la funcionalidad familiar y su relación con variables clínicas, mediante un análisis descriptivo, correlacional, transversal de tipo probabilístico, donde se manejó una muestra de 317 adolescentes. El análisis estadístico muestra que el 85.5% son mujeres, el promedio de edad es de 14.31 años, el 74.4% residen en la zona urbana, el 52.4% de los evaluados estudia bachillerato, el 95.9% no posee discapacidad, la religión católica prevalece con el 88.3%. La muestra se encuentra constituida con más prevalencia por familias moderadamente funcionales con 41.3%, cohesión en el nivel alto es el área más prevalente de este constructo con un 68.8%; en variables clínicas prevalece el nivel de anormal con el 42,9% y su área prevalente es síntomas emocionales con el 29.28% de la muestra. Problemas de conducta y afectividad poseen una correlación lineal estadísticamente significativa de -0.174.

Dado el aumento demográfico de la población adulta mayor y el incremento proyectado para los próximos años, surge la necesidad de estudiar todos aquellos factores que puedan ejercer una influencia sobre el bienestar de los adultos mayores, razón por la cual, en el presente estudio se planteó el objetivo de analizar las variables psicosociales intervinientes en el envejecimiento exitoso. Las bases de datos utilizadas para la revisión sistemática fueron Taylor and Francis; Web of Science; Scopus y Pubmed. Las palabras utilizadas en la búsqueda fueron: "old age”, older adults","elderly","late life", "successful aging”, "social interactions", "social life", "psychosocial factors" y "psychosocial" y los conectores booleanos utilizados fueron “AND” y “OR”. Los resultados fueron sistematizados a través del esquema PRISMA, de lo cual se obtuvo un número final de 18 artículos. Los resultados obtenidos se orientaron principalmente hacia la influencia de las interacciones sociales, la situación económica y la salud, sobre la percepción de los adultos mayores acerca del envejecimiento exitoso. Se concluye que el goce de una buena salud, mayores ingresos económicos y la participación social son factores intervinientes en el envejecimiento exitoso.
La Depresión es un trastorno heterogéneo, complejo y costoso, cuya prevalencia va en aumento. En ese sentido, se requieren propuestas de abordaje eficaces y eficientes, que permitan atender la gran demanda que existe a nivel mundial. La Terapia Breve Centrada en Soluciones plantea intervenciones con un promedio de 10 sesiones, en determinados casos. El presente trabajo explora la eficacia de este modelo, en el tratamiento de la depresión clínica, en comparación con la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso. Usando el método Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysesse, se revisaron 35 artículos sobre la aplicación de la Terapia Breve Centrada en Soluciones, así como de la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso en el tratamiento de síntomas depresivos. Se encontró que ambos modelos arrojan resultados clínicamente significativos en la reducción de síntomas depresivos, mostrando ser eficaces en el tratamiento de la Depresión.
