As a result of research in the territory of livestock farms, 103 species of predatory Coleoptera were found, including Staphylinidae accounting for 51.4%, Histeridae – 27.3%, Carabidae – 21.3%. A total of 39 species of the Staphylinidae family were identified, belonging to 5 subfamilies: Oxytelinae, Steninae, Staphylininae, Tachyporinae, Aleocharinae. Species composition of staphylinids varied in relation to the types of animal rearing premises. In cowsheds and calf pens species diversity was higher (35 species). To study the peculiarities of feeding in laboratory conditions, we monitored 9 species of Staphylinidae: Philonthus addendus Sharp, Ph. cruentatus (Gmel.), Ph. rectangulus Sharp, Ph. varians (Payk.), Ph. spinipes Sharp, Ph. nitidus F., Creophilus maxillosus (L.), Ontholestes murinus (L.), Oxytelus sp. Feeding specialization of imagoes and larvae of different ages was studied. We determined that the mass of food consumed per day is higher than the weight of the beetles. Large species of staphylinids prefer feeding on average-aged larvae of flies and can eat puparia. Peculiarities of the development of coprophilous staphylinids were studied on the example of Ph. spinipes Sharp. During 24 h a female laid 1–3 eggs (in +28°С). Duration of the egg phase depends on the temperature regime (in +20 °С – 4–5, +28 °С – 3–4 days). Cessation of egg laying was observed with decrease in the temperature to +14 °С. The development takes part in three larval stages. Duration of the larva phase at +28 °С was 8–10 days, at +20 °С – 13–14 days. The first moulting was observed on the 2–3th days (in +28 °С) after the larvae emerged from the eggs. At +28 °С the pupa phase lasted 8–10 days. Decrease in temperature prolonged the rate of the development. At +24 °С it practically did not change (9–10 days), at +18 °С – increased to 13–15 days.
Streptococcus suis (S.suis) is an important zoonotic pathogen that can cause many diseases in pigs, such as sepsis, arthritis, endocarditis, and meningitis, of which meningitis is the most serious. There are 35 serotypes, and serotype two is the most virulent. At the same time, Streptococcus suis serotype 2(SS2) can also infect humans, causing severe public health problems. Although SS2 has attracted significant attention worldwide, the research on its pathogenesis is still limited. The adhesion of pathogenic bacteria to the surface of host cells or tissues and its subsequent invasion and diffusion are the critical steps of pathogenic bacteria. Moreover, the interaction between pathogen and host is involved in these processes. Therefore, to study the pathogenic mechanism of pathogenic bacteria is to study the interaction between pathogenic bacteria and host. This paper described several common virulence factors, such as CPS, SLY, MRP, EF, SAO, Srt, FBPS, SadP, and Eno. Under the actions of virulence factors, SS2 adheres and colonizes to the mucosal and epithelial surface of host cells. Then SS2 invades into deeper tissues and bloodstream. If SS2 in the blood does not cause fatal sepsis, It can go to the third stage. The third stage is to cross the BBB and access the CNS and ultimately causes meningitis. During pathogenesis, SS2 interacts with multiple host cells, such as neutrophils, macrophages, epithelial cells, and microvascular endothelial cells to evade the innate or adaptive immunity of the host.
Effective control of animal tuberculosis is possible only with a comprehensive examination of the biology of the pathogen, epizootiology, pathogenesis, prevention methods, economic and environmental factors that affect the course of the disease. It is known that radiation exposure leads to autosensitisation of the body by the breakdown products of its tissues and the development of non-specific (false) immunological reactions. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to examine the immunological (serological) reactivity of tuberculosis patients exposed to gamma radiation in laboratory animals. Radiological, bacteriological, allergic, serological, and pathoanatomical research methods were used in the study. Guinea pigs were consistently irradiated with various doses of gamma rays, infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis of various types, and, for 90 days, were examined by clinical, allergic, pathoanatomical, and serological methods in the complement fixation reaction (CFR) and passive hemagglutination reaction (PHGR) according to Boyden to detect antitubercular complementbinding antibodies and tissue autoantibodies. 45 and 90 days after infection with M. bovis and M. tuberculosis antitubercular complement-binding antibodies were recorded in serum samples of irradiated and non-irradiated animals in diagnostic titres (1:20-1:80), which indicates the active development of the infectious process. In irradiated and intact guinea pigs infected with M. avium, no anti-tuberculosis antibodies were detected in since guinea pigs are not susceptible to infection with the causative agent of avian tuberculosis. In serum samples from uninfected guinea pigs, both irradiated and intact, antitubercular complement-binding antibodies were not detected during the entire follow-up period (90 days). The high content of tissue autoantibodies in blood serum samples of animals irradiated with a dose of 200 R (0.0516 C/kg) is a manifestation of autosensitisation of the body by the breakdown products of its tissues due to radiation damage. The presence of tissue autoantibodies in blood serum samples of irradiated and Mycobacterium-infected animals did not affect serological indicators for the indication of anti-tuberculosis antibodies, which should be considered when conducting diagnostic studies by veterinary medicine laboratories
In modern poultry farming, the problem of controlling microbiological contamination of poultry housing is essential and relevant. High levels of microbiological air pollution and abundant contamination of poultry production surfaces can be powerful and dangerous risk factors for the spread of opportunistic and pathogenic microflora. The health of poultry and its performance depends on the health and welfare of poultry houses іndustrial zone. Sanitary condition is an integral part of the overall operation of the process poultry farms. In the practice of industrial poultry entered, the term “biological fatigue”. We assessed the sanitary-bacteriological condition of poultry houses by the indicators of the total number of microorganisms in the air and by the isolation of pathogenic microorganisms. We determined the rates of bacterial contamination of surfaces and the air of poultry houses during the technological break-rearing broiler. The objects of the study were bacterial contamination of air and object poultry houses. Scientific research has been conducted on the technological break and release of objects from poultry. According to our study, we established high levels of microbiological air pollution in poultry houses on the 14th, 28-th, and 42-th day of broiler breeding. The total microbial count air of poultry houses does not meet sanitary standards. On the 14-th, 28-th and 42-th day, breeding broilers for meat in the poultry house bacterial contamination were 184.33 ± 43.52 thousand CFU/m3; 376.25 ± 84.84 thousand CFU/m3 and 786.68 ± 214.91 thousand CFU/m3. The article presents research results on poultry houses' sanitary and bacteriological indicators of leaching. We have established a high level of contamination of production surfaces. The isolates were: E. coli – (39.3 %), Salmonella spp., and Campylobecter spp. – (14.5 %), Streptococcus spp., S. aureus – 23.6 % Proteus ssp., Enterobacter ssp. – 22.6 %. The qualitative and quantitative composition of isolated microflora from poultry farms indicates significant risks of reducing the natural non-specific protective forces of the bird, the emergence of infectious diseases, and reduced productivity of birds. Thus, the sanitary condition of poultry houses is one of the main criteria for stable epizootic well-being in poultry and a guarantee of effective agribusiness.

Typhimurium, P.aeruginosa, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Proteus, Klebsiella, Citrobacter, Yersinia.
Allergic examination using PPD-tuberculins is the main method of life-time tuberculosis diagnostics in farm animals and poultry. However, it is known about a decrease in the diagnostic value of allergic reactions after irradiation of animals, the occurrence of non-specific, pseudo-allergic reactions. One of the reasons for the manifestation of non-specific reactions may be autosensitisation (autoallergisation) of the body by the breakdown products of personal tissues, which is especially pronounced with radiation damage. Ionizing radiation affects the manifestation of tuberculin sensitivity, the course of tuberculosis and autoimmune processes in the body. Differential diagnostics of non-specific tuberculin reactions remains not yet a fully solved problem, although there are many tests for its implementation. After the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, a considerable number of animals remained in the adjacent territories contaminated with radioactive substances, including those infected with the causative agent of tuberculosis and atypical mycobacteria. It is known that irradiation leads to autosensitisation of the body by the breakdown products of its own tissues and the development of non-specific pseudoallergic reactions to heterologous allergens. Therefore, work was carried out to study the allergic reactivity of tuberculosis patients and laboratory animals sensitised with atypical mycobacteria irradiated with gamma radiation (200 guinea pigs). It was established that 14-60 days after infection with tuberculosis pathogens, 90-100% of cavies developed allergic reactions to PPD-tuberculin for mammals and poultry, mainly to a homologous allergen. Allergic reactivity persisted until 90 days of the study. After exposure to sublethal (non-lethal) doses of gamma rays, infected and intact cavies developed non-specific reactions to tuberculin and heterologous allergens: mallein and brucellin. In cavies uninfected with the causative agent of tuberculosis, 7 days after gamma radiation exposure, non-specific reactions to mycobacterial allergens were observed at a dose load of 200 R in 16.6%; 150 R – 5.3% in the group, and after 27 days in irradiated doses of 50 R and 100 R in 25% and 33% of the studied animals, respectively. Isolated reactions to brucellin and mallein occurred in animals infected with the causative agent of tuberculosis and intact animals 60 days after irradiation with doses of 50 R, 100 R and 150 R. The manifestation of non-specific allergies in irradiated animals depended on the radiation dose rate and radiosensitivity of the animals
