The desire to realize a prosperous society in the true sense is a great goal to be achieved by the Indonesian people in the system of government of the Republic of Indonesia. The potential of fishery resources can actually be utilized to increase income which will be expected to improve the welfare of fishermen households. In fact, many fishermen still have not been able to increase their catch, so the income level of fishermen households does not increase so that the welfare of the fisherman's life is still not realized. The fishery sector is the mainstay for most people as if they depend on their fishing business. This phenomenon is occurring in most parts of Indonesia, including fishermen in the coastal area of East Flores. In relation to the phenomenon, then the research questions are 1). What is the effect of production cost, technology, selling price, and fish catch on the income of fishermen in East Flores Regency? 2). What is the effect of production cost, technology, selling price, and fish catch on the welfare of fishermen households in East Flores Regency? 3). Does the income of fishermen mediate the cost of production, technology, selling prices, and the fish caught on the welfare of fishermen households in East Flores District? Research objectives: 1). Analyzing, whether the factors of production costs, technology, the selling price of fish, and the catch of fish affect the income of fishermen in East Flores Regency? 2). Analyzing factors of production cost, technology, selling price, and fish catches have an effect on to fisherman household welfare in East Flores regency. 3). Analyzing whether fisherman's income mediates the influence of production cost factor, technology, selling price and fish catch on fisherman household's prosperity in East Flores Regency. The population of this study is 7,761 people. Sampling was conducted by applying "Slovin theory" so that the number of samples was 99 people. Proportionate Probability Sampling method was then applied in order to determine the number of respondents. The samples of 99 respondents were interviewed based on the questionnaires provided beforehand. In the interviews, the variables obtained consist of Production cost (IDR), technology (modern and traditional), sales price (IDR), and yields (Kg), Revenue (IDR), and welfare level (measured according to Standard Bureau of Statistics with 7 indicators, namely: consumption pattern, health, Education, Security, Love, Social and Culture). The cost of production, technology, selling price, and fish catch have a significant effect on fisherman's income. Fishermen income has a positive and significant impact on the welfare of fishermen households in East Flores Regency. Indirect effect analysis found that factor of production cost, technology, and fish catch have significant influence through fisherman income to fisherman household welfare in East Flores Regency.

This study aims to analyze (1) the effect of land area, cost of production, the number of working hours and labor to the production of corn farmers and on the welfare of farm households in Gerokgak District of Buleleng Regency (2) whether the production of corn farmers mediate land area, cost of production, the number of hours worked and labor for the welfare of corn farmers in Gerokgak District of Buleleng Regency. This research was conducted in fourteen villages in the Gerokgak District of Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. Bali has a dry rainfed land which has great potential to be cultivated into productive land, Gerokgak one of the Districts in Bali Province has the widest dry land planted with corn as a commodity suitable for dry land, but every year it decreases production thus affecting welfare. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were corn farmers in Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Path. The sample in this study was ninety-one using a purposive sampling technique for total sampling taken from all villages in Gerokgak District. The research conclusions: (1) variables land area, production costs, and labor have a positive and significant effect on farmer production variables, (2) variable number of working hours has a negative and significant effect on farmer production variables and (3) production costs negatively and no significant effect on the welfare of corn farmers (4) the number of working hours has a positive and insignificant effect on the welfare of corn farmers (5) labor has a positive and significant effect on the welfare of corn farmers, and (6) farmer production has a positive and significant effect on welfare of corn farmers.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of social capital on human capital; the effect of social capital on transaction costs; the influence of social capital, human capital and transaction costs on empowerment; the indirect effect of social capital on empowerment through human capital; and the indirect effect of social capital on empowerment through transaction costs in Bangli Regency. Design/methodology/approach The population in this research is all wood carving business in Bangli Regency, in all districts some 366 business units. The number of respondents surveyed were 191 business units in all sub-districts. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling, with strata of business area. Inferential analysis is preceded by using factor analysis techniques to obtain factor scores on each latent variable, followed by path analysis to answer the research objectives. Finding Based on the analysis, the following conclusions are drawn: social capital has a positive and significant impact on human resources; positive social capital and significant positive to transaction costs; social capital and human resources have a positive and significant effect while transaction costs and no significant positive effect on empowerment; human resources partially mediate the influence of social capital on empowerment; and transaction costs do not act as a variable, mediating the influence of social capital on empowering small woodcraft industry in Bangli Regency. Originality/value This study is one of the few to investigate the role of social capital, human capital and transaction cost on empowerment of small industries, especially wood carving in Bangli District. This small woodcraft industry is famous for its uniqueness that characterizes Balinese carving ornaments. But lately, the productivity of handicrafts wood carving, especially in Bangli District, fluctuates tend to decline. Social capital, in addition to human capital and technology, also plays an important role in the production process. Social capital equals other physical capital and can increase productivity and economic efficiency. Higher social capital owned by individuals or groups can reduce transaction costs; thus economic activity can run efficiently. Social capital is the information, trust and norms of reciprocity inherent in social networks.

Factors of low quality of human resources that have an impact on the management of organization and business; members of the cooperate are generally small people, so it's pretty hard to empower them; the low participation of members that is visible from the small amount of paid-up capital of members and Member utilization of services business cooperate; the location of the cooperation tend to be less/no strategic for business; as well as the culture of the Organization cooperate that is less conducive to developing the business. This research aims to analyze the influence of cooperate knowledge, the ability of administrators, service cooperatives, cooperate interest and participation of the members of the cooperative in the cooperate against the welfare of society in Jembrana Regency, analyzed with partial least square (PLS). The location of the research done in Jembrana Regency. Types of data used in this research is quantitative and qualitative. The source of the data used in this research is the primary data from the results of the questionnaire to respondents.    The results of the analysis showed that n knowledge, the ability of administrators, service quality of cooperation and interest in cooperate on the positive and significant participation of influential members of the village Jembrana Regency. Cooperate knowledge, the ability of the Executive Board, and the Ministry of cooperatives was not significant effect against the welfare of society, while the interest and participation of the members of the cooperative in the village of positive and significant effect against community welfare in Jembrana Regency. The participation of members of the cooperative in the village mediated significantly influences the ability of the Executive Board, the Ministry of cooperation and interest in cooperate  against the welfare of the community, but the influence of perkoperasian knowledge against the welfare of society mediated by the insignificant participation of members of the cooperative in the village Jembrana Regency.

Masalah dalam pembangunan ekonomi adalah peningkatan pertumbuhan, pengurangan kesenjangan pendapatan rumah tangga, dan pengentasan kemiskinan. Akan tetapi menjadi sebuah dilema pada negara-negara yang sedang berkembang dimana peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi akan meningkatkan ketimpangan pendapatan rumah tangga.  Fenomena di Bali, dari tahun 1996 sampai 2015 pertumbuhan ekonomi Bali cendrung mengalami peningkatan. Inflasi di Bali cendrung stabil, penerimaan dana alokasi umum (DAU) di Bali selalu mengalami peningkatan, dan Trade open Bali 7% sampai 11% dari tahun 1996 sampai 2015. Disisi lain semakin meningkatnya indikator makro di Bali juga diikuti dengan naiknya ketimpangan pendapatan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh DAU, inflasi, pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan trade open secara parsial terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan di Bali, dan menganalisis pengaruh dari masing-masing variabel bebas yaitu DAU (X1), inflasi (X2), pertumbuhan ekonomi (X3) serta trade open (X4), terhadap ketimpangan pendapatan rumah tangga di Bali. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian hanya trade open  yang tidak singnifikan terhadap Variabel Y.

The Effect of Tourism Attractions, Hotel Restaurants, Travel Agencies on LaborAbsorption and Per capita Income The purpose of this study is analyze:1) direct effect oftouristattraction,hotel restaurant,travel agency on employment. 2)direct effect oftourist attraction,hotelrestaurant,travel agency and employment on percapita income. 3)indirect effects of touristattraction,hotel restaurant,travel agencyon percapita income through employment. The analysistechnique uses path analysis. Results of the simultaneous direct effecttourist attraction,hotelrestaurant,travel agency on employmentis positive significant effect, and will have positiveimplications for tourism sector employment. The results of the simultaneous direct effect betweentourist attraction,hotel restaurant,travel agency, and employment on income percapita had positivesignificant . The results of this analysis have implications for increasing percapita income in thedistricts / cities of the Province of Bali. The results of indirect effect of tourist attraction,hotelrestaurant,travel agencyon the percapita income through employment with a causal step, Hotelrestaurant and travel agency had a positive significant effect on percapita income.Effect of touristattraction on percapita income through employmenthad positive influence not significant. Pemerintah merancang berbagai program pembangunandengan cara memperbaiki struktur ekonomi daerah.Pariwisata Pulau Nusa Penida merupakan industri yang sedang dikembangkan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Klungkunguntuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis. 1) Bagaimana pengaruh partisipasi masyarakat dan peran pemerintah terhadap keberlanjutan pariwisata Nusa Penida; 2) Bagaimana pengaruh keberlanjutan pariwisata Nusa Penida terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat; dan 3) Apakah variabel partisipasi masyarakat dan peran pemerintah berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui keberlanjutan pariwisata Nusa Penida. Sumber data yaitu data primer yang diperoleh dari kuisioner, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 98 orang. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah SEM-PLS.
