Palm oil industry plays a vital role in Indonesia economy. The palm oil industry can also support sustainable development since it is based on renewable natural resources. The contribution to sustainable development is hampered if oil palm production system, especially of smallholder farmers is not sustainable. Smallholder farmers consist of almost half of the total of oil palm plantations in Indonesia. The sustainability of oil palm farming of smallholder farmers may influence significantly to the overall sustainability. The adoption of Indonesia sustainable palm oil production system by smallholder farmers may improve the sustainability of oil palm farming. This study aimed to find out if perceived environment-economic benefit differed between conventional and sustainable oil palm farmers and to uncover factors affecting the adoption of Indonesia sustainable oil palm production system. The respondents were selected using a purposive sampling method, comprising of 313 conventional smallholder farmers and 167 smallholder farmers implementing Indonesian sustainable palm oil production system. A structured-questionnaire used to gather data. Descriptive statistics and logic regressions were utilized to analyse the data. The results show that the perceived environment and economic benefit is higher for farmers adopting sustainable palm oil production than conventional farmers. Several factors which were the age of farmer, formal and non-formal education, income, total land managed, the involvement of farmer in a cooperative, and environmental management did not motivate farmers to adopt Indonesian sustainable palm oil production system. While the experience of the farmers, family size, main job, involvement in farmer‘s association, doing good cultivation practice, and plantation management influenced the adoption of Indonesian sustainable palm oil production.
This research aims to estimate the marketable surplus and marketed supply of rice in Mukomuko Regency. This research is also aimed at identifying determinant factors of marketed supply and predicting rice availability in Mukomuko Regency. Data collected were primary and secondary data. The research location is determined using a cluster sampling method with 130 respondent selected using Stratified random sampling. The data analysis was used quantitative descriptive and regression analysis estimated. The result shows that percent marketable surplus and marketed supply of rice is 83.43% and 85.27 per ha per planting season respectively. The factors influencing the marketed supply of rice is Rice production and price. The rice availability from 2017 to 2020 is projected to increase by 44.56%. Consumption is projected to increase by 20.407 Kg in 2020. For the next 5 years, i.e.,2018-2022, rice availability and surplus positively increase.
The research's purpose is to find out a causality between price and demand on curly red chili, as well as between prices of commodities associated with it, and price formation correlation between markets. Data analysis method used is Granger causality and lag-test. The results show that there is no causality between price and demand of curly red chili in the province of Bengkulu. While the relationship between prices, there is one way relation between price of curly red chili with rawit chili and green chili on lag-2, and curly red chili price in some markets (origin and reference) have impact to another market (destination). Pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan di rumah sewa mahasiswa yang terbatas harus terpadu (Lakitan, 2012), kontinu (Suryana et al, 1997) serta sumber bahan pangan tambahan (Novitasari, 2011).Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan mahasiswa tinggal dirumah sewa dalam waktu relatif lama menimbulkan rasa jenuh dan stres yang dapat menurunkan imunitas tubuh. Mahasiswa perlu mengisi waktu luang dengan kegiatan positif, salah satunya dengan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan rumah sewa mahasiswa untuk budidaya sayuranpada media tanam portable. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode observasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Alat dan bahandigunakan terdiri dari Pot/polybag/kantong besar, Benih sayur kangkung dan pokcay, Pupuk kandang, pupuk urea dan tanah, Spanduk Pelatihan serta kamera untuk pembuatan dokumentasi dan video kegiatan.Hasil dari kegiatan ini diketahui mahasiswa pionir peserta program telah menguasai budidaya kangkung dan pokcay pada media tanam portable di rumah sewa.Hasil ini merokemdasikan kegiatan sejenis perlu diperluas kepada mahasiswa yang berada di rumah tinggal bersama orang tua.

The company's profit is related to cost, sales volume and selling price. One of the analytical tools that can be used is Cost Volume Profit (CVP) analysis. Profitability is a benchmark of the company's performance to generating the net income. The research aim to analyze the income, breakeven point, profitability ability and sensitivity, also analysing consumer perception about attribute level of importance and satisfaction of coconut sugar product in Dusun Hibrida, Pal 30 Village, Lais District, North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. From sales of coconut sugar products amounted to Rp.60.183,47 per production. Which the profitability of coconut sugar products is 46%. If product performance exceeds the consumer expectations, they will feel satisfied. Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) is used to maping the relationship between importance and performance of each product attribute. The most important attributes and have good performance related to consumers is coconut sugar hygiene, taste, and food / beverages, coconut sugar color, durability, ease of accessing the product, and coconut sugar solubility, that’s attributes need to be maintained.

This study aimed to asses effect of different efficacious materials and types of sugar on consumer acceptance of “Koteja” (coffee with addition of sea cucumber and ginger) based on organoleptic tests (taste, aroma, and color) and to determine the most preferred coffee by consumers and in accordance with SNI. This study was conducted by using randomized completely design with 2 (two) factors; efficacious materials (Morinda citrifolia, Piper retrofractum, Syzgium aromaticum and material mix) and types of sugar (white sugar and brown sugar). Experimental data were subjected to ANOVA test followed by DMRT with 5% level of significant. The result showed that the use of Java chili (Piper retrofractum) and brown sugar was the most preferred by consumer.
