AbstrakTindak tutur komisif merupakan salah satu aspek pragmatik yang harus diperhatikan oleh penerjemah ketika menerjemahkan teks. Hal itu dilakukan agar menghasilkan terjemahan yang berkualitas dari aspek keakuratan dan keberterimaan. Berdasarkan alasan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan tingkat keakuratan dan keberterimaan terjemahan kalimat yang mengakomodasi tindak tutur komisif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Data yang digunakan ialah tuturan komisif dan hasil penilaian kualitas terjemahan. Data bersumber dari novel Insurgent karya Veronica Roth dan informan. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara analisis dokumen, kuesioner dan Focus Group Discussion. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan cara analisis domain, taksonomi, komponensial, dan tema budaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjemahan dalam novel Insurgent mempunyai nilai keakuratan dan keberterimaan yang cukup tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat keakuratan dan keberterimaan pada setiap jenis tindak tutur komisif memiliki dampak terhadap kualitas keseluruhan terjemahan kalimat yang mengandung tindak tutur komisif. The study aimed at investigating the affective role of integrating language awareness into grammar learning in the Indonesian EFL (English as a Foreign Language) context. In the study, questionnaires and interviews on language awareness were given to fifty participants. The findings show that majority of the participants responded to positively change their perceptions of the relationship between learning grammar and language skills. The conclusion underlines the necessity of language awareness in grammar learning in the Indonesian EFL context as well as its future development to facilitate second/foreign language teaching and learning.
This paper shows the cultural barriers in the higher education setting and advises that the university makes certain preparations to welcome inbound and outbound students of exchange program upon their arrival. Students have accepted resources primarily generated from the university to overcome these obstacles. Therefore, as revealed by this study, the university or college is better able to identify students' needs and provide appropriate campus resources and services when they have a deeper grasp of their academic issues. The university must be equipped not only intellectually, but also socially and culturally, to meet the demands of its students.

This study is aimed to investigate the students’ perception of the implementation of MGlab Netlux Software in the Listening for Professional Context Class. This qualitative study used a personal interview method to collect the data. Nineteen English students at Listening for Professional context class in a private university in Yogyakarta were chosen as the subjects of this research. The results indicate that MGlab Netlux Software had already met the indicators of the class outline. The students also had positive responses toward the use of this Software. There were also several different perceptions on the weaknesses, difficulties in applying it. The researcher hopes that this research can be beneficial to readers, particularly English teachers who wish to seek out the students’ perceptions on the use of certain Software related to Computer Assisted Language Learning in teaching students.
