One's belief in his ability to do certain task affects the quality of individual work. Thus, this study was designed to examine self-efficacy (SE), the quality of Teacher of Islamic Education (TIE) as murabbi and the relationship between the two variables and also the effect of SE toward TIE quality of murabbi. This study used a quantitative approach and the questionnaire was the main instrument. Multi stage cluster sampling technique was used to determine the sample. The sample size involved in this research were 544 TIE representing a population of 8,562 TIE national secondary school in Peninsular Malaysia. The results showed that SE of TIE were very high (min = 4.32) and TIE quality at an excellent level (min = 4.32). In addition, moderate and positive correlation between SE with TIE quality (r = 0.619). The multiple regression analysis step by step (step wise) showed that all four aspects of the TIE SE is a predictor of the TIE quality factor as murabbi accounting for 34.2% of variance change for TIE quality as murabbi. This study was also seen to have implications on the theory and models used; in addition to policy makers, especially the training section; and to the guide instructional practices of TIE.
E-learning is a new learning model carried out by the government to support student learning activities during a pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach. Given the total number of students, more than 100 people, the researchers took a sample of 25% of the total population. In this research, systematic data collection uses an interview system to determine the use of e-learning-based learning models. The results of the study show that 1) the learning activities carried out by teachers through e-learning-based learning are still considered to be less than optimal, this is evidenced by the results of a questionnaire of 24.5% indicating that students' low interest in learning through the e-learning based model, 2) the calculation of the average value of student learning outcomes or the average value is 89.8. categorized as very good, 3) the results of the discussion that has been submitted show that there is no effect of e-learning-based learning on the learning outcomes of aqidah morals, the results obtained 0.221, where the significant value is smaller than the "r" table, both at the 5% level and at the 1% level.
This paper discusses scenarios that occur in the delivery of the National Education Program, focusing the debate on the Special Education teacher professionalism especially teachers of Islamic Studies (IET). The objective of this study is to propose solutions to issues and challenges of the teaching profession by presenting a model of Special Education teacher as Murabbi. The term Murabbi is selected in this model as opposed to Mursyid, Mu'allim, Muaddib, and Mudarris, because Murabbi encompasses the concept of love which is very close to special children as applied in this element. The findings of this study have resulted a model teacher as Murabbi particularly in the context of special education. There are eight characteristics of effective teachers as Murabbi contribute towards upholding the special education system of the country.
