This research examines social capital and knowledge sharing effect on innovation capability among lectures in universities. Social capital was analyzed using three constructs, namely trust, norm and network, while knowledge sharing was broken down into two variables, namely knowledge collecting and knowledge donating. Innovation capability was explained on an individual level based on personality, behavioral and output perspectives. The research model and hypotheses were developed from the literature. Data collection is conducted through a survey on lecturers of private universities in Surabaya. The obtained data from the questionnaires were analyzed with the Partial Least Square (PLS) to investigate the research model. The results suggest that social capital significantly influences innovation capability, while high level of knowledge collecting and knowledge donating can lead to high level of innovation capability. This study offers a foundation to analyze the relationships between social capital, knowledge-sharing process, consisting of knowledge collecting and knowledge donating, and innovation capability.
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between procedural justice, knowledge sharing and innovative work behavior. The research model and hypothesis were developed from related literature. The data was collected through survey method on 297 supervisors of four and five star hotels in East Java, Indonesia. The obtained data from the questionnaire were tested with Partial Least Square (PLS) to investigate the research model. The results confirm that procedural justice has positive impact on knowledge sharing. While the effect of knowledge sharing on innovative work behavior is another finding of this research. The implications of this study are discussed in the conclusions section of the study
Purpose of this study for examine and analyze the influence of the quality of service that consists of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy for customers satisfaction Orenztaxi. This study used a quantitative research using surveys and questionnaires to 100 Orenztaxi customers in Surabaya. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. It was found that the variable quality of services consisting of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy simultaneously have an influence on customers satisfaction at Orenztaxi Surabaya and the variable quality of services consisting of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy partially positive and significant effect on customers satisfaction at Orienztaxi Surabaya.
Penelitian ini hendak membuktikan bahwa knowledge sharing memengaruhi job performance dan innovative work behavior berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian eksplanatori ini menjelaskan pengaruh antar variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 188 karyawan PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk, yang ditentukan dengan Teknik convenience sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan program Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan knowledge sharing pada innovative work behavior. Knowledge sharing berpengaruh signifikan pada job performance. Innovative work behavior berpengaruh signifikan pada job performance. Selanjutnya, ditemukan innovative work behavior secara signifikan berperan sebagai mediator hubungan antara knowledge sharing dan job performance.
