Travel vlogs are thought to have shaped destination credibility and effectively strengthened a perceived destination image. Opinions, reviews, and a live journey create a lifelike experience that encourages the desire to visit a location. The purpose of this research is to look into the possibilities of travel vlog inputs for destination marketing. The research was carried out among the residents of Sta. Cruz, Laguna in a descriptive-correlational method; the descriptive design provided an overview of actual cognition, feelings, and actions within the group while the correlational approach was used to assess the relationship between the factors affecting travel decision-making process and tourists' destination choice. A researcher-made questionnaire was utilized to determine the degree of influence for each variable. Results indicated that with regards to travel-related decisions, people tend to be impacted by travel vloggers more especially in terms of the perceived credible information. Further, the findings revealed that vloggers had a significant impact on people's decision to travel in terms of cognitive, emotional, and epistemic values. Furthermore, there is a strong link that suggests that the better the travel-related decisions, the better the destination choice. Finally, the research developed a destination model that recommends an effective strategy for Laguna Tourism in preserving and improving destination attributes.
Heritage tourism is considered as a rapidly growing sector of tourism making up a very important component of tourism for many regions. In recent years, Hunan has attached great importance to the development of tourism. The area is a region inhabited by ethnic minorities and rich in ecological resources, and is also a famous tourist destination in China. It is quite important to understand tourists' motives, expectation and experience that influence the performance of the historical sites, and for a better management of the site in accordance with the desires and expectations of visitors. This study aims to assess the Tourists' Motives, Expectation and Experience to Historical Sites in Hunan Province. The researcher in this study used the descriptive survey research method. The finding reveals that There was a significant relationship exists and implies that the better the experience, the higher the level of motives, the higher the expectation and the higher the level of experience. It was recommended for the Chinese Government may consider restructuring the historical sites making it to have modern and visual appeal on built environment without losing its value and to boost Enjoyment in Historical sites, there can be recreational activities facilitated by the tour guides.
Community Extension is one of the tri-fold functions in Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas thus plays an important role in the social transformation and became an instrument in changing lives of many Batanguenos by providing sustainable projects. The College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management conducts this livelihood project through their faculty member and students teaching the residents on beads making and selling these bracelets. This study assessed impact and effectiveness of the livelihood project to the Beneficiary of SHL Restoration Village. The participants of the study will be those residents of SHL Restoration Village covering 50 houses. There is a total of 20 beneficiaries who voluntarily serve to be part of livelihood project which is the beads making. The instrument that will be used in this study is a self-made questionnaire to assess the impact of the livelihood project in terms of values gained and economic status and the effectiveness of the project. Based on the result of the study, it was revealed that there was a positive impact on the beneficiaries, CITHM Faculty and students. It is also proven that the livelihood project is effective. Furthermore, it is revealed that the impact of the project is not affected on whether the project is effective. It is suggested that livelihood project and program may be continued since there is a positive impact to the benefactors; however, it is recommendable to fine other beneficiaries and may look for industry partners to have regular customers to ensure sustainability of the project.
The study's goal is to offer a non-biased thesis about the relationship between the destination's image and the tourist's travel behavior. To help tourists decide whether or not to visit the province's destinations, this information is available. Respondents were asked about their demographic profile of respondents in terms of age, sex, civil status, occupation, highest educational attainment, and psychographic profile prior to taking the survey. Additionally, in light of the COVID-19 epidemic, the study attempts to assessed how visitors' perceptions of their location influence their travel plans. The researcher used a survey questionnaire among 385 tourists. It was found out that Travel behavior of the tourist in terms of Outcome Quality, indicates bringing family or friends in a vacation is pleasurable. Visitors who have visited Batangas Province at least twice in the last year are the subjects of this research. The result showed the Gen Z or age 25 years old below have greater assessment about trust, healthcare system, and crisis management. This study found a strong correlation between a tourist destination's image and its visitors' travel habits. Results show that the image of a location is essential to a visitor's travel behavior. The duty of the destination is to provide the best available services while simultaneously preserving the health and safety of visitors.
The role of destination attributes has something to do with the increase in tourists' revisit intentions. This study assessed the demographic profile of the respondents; determine the destination attributes of Camarines Sur and assessed tourist behavioral intentions. This study used the quantitative research design among the total sample of 385 tourists was used as the respondents of the study. Hence, this study generated useful data and reveal patterns that can drive the establishment of programs and policies relative to their development. The tourist destinations in Camarines Sur have a high level of destination attributes in terms of Security and Safety, Maintenance and Cleanliness, Infrastructure, Prices, Social Behavior of Local Residents, Information and Communication, Facilities, and Attraction. There was a high level of tourist behavioral intentions in terms of Outcome Quality, Physical Environment Quality, Tourist Satisfaction, Place Identity, Place Dependence, Intention to Recommend, and Intention to Visit. An action plan was also proposed for continuous improvement of the tourism and hospitality industry in the province of Camarines Sur.
The global CoViD-19 crisis has greatly impacted the economy, society, and labor market, affecting every product supply and demand. The tourism and hospitality industries have encountered persistent challenges, with major declines in income and growth, as well as job losses in specific sectors as a result of travel bans and border closure measures. This study aimed to assess the Impact of CoViD-19 among the 254 tourism business employees and owners in Quirino province and the Crisis Management Practices they employed during the pandemic. Findings reveal the CoViD-19 pandemic has a positive impact on Environment while its negative impacts were posted on Economy. Looking at the Crisis Management Practices of the Tourism Businesses in Quirino province, Cost Control posted the highest level of agreement among the respondents. Based on the findings of the study, there is a high significant relationship between the Impacts of CoViD-19 in the Tourism Businesses of Quirino Province and Crisis Management Practices executed by the Tourism Businesses in Quirino Province. Hence, the positive and negative impacts of the pandemic are significantly associated with the respondents' adoption to the various Crisis Management Practices. The empirical results of the study may guide the Tourism industry in the province in formulating exigency plans in controlling the drastic effect of the pandemic. Also, various strategies may be employed to collaborate with other agencies in the government to discuss coping measures and comprehensive crisis management systems.
