Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop and test a model for the relationship between learning behavior in groups and empowerment leadership using trust among group members as a specific context factor that influences the relationship. Design/methodology/approach This study uses a quantitative survey that involves 78 working groups from various types of teams and diverse business fields in Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out at the group level, and, for the hypothesis testing, hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used. Findings The empirical results of the testing show that empowerment leadership has a positive influence on learning behavior in groups, and trust among group members is proven to be a moderating variable that strengthens the influence of these variables. Research limitations/implications The process of generalizing findings must be carried out carefully considering that the model testing carried out was in the context of specific groups and included the existence of common method bias risk. Originality/value This paper provides an understanding of the interaction between the presence of group leaders who have an empowerment leadership style and the existence of trust among group members that will encourage the emergence of learning behavior in groups. It contributes to the current literature by filling a gap from social information processing perspective. Individuals collectively will have attitudes and behavior based on information from coworkers while developing self-leadership that leads to sharing knowledge and sharing experience within the group.
This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of work engagement on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research using quantitative methods involved 122 employees of Kimia Farma Pharmacy Business Unit Jayapura City, Papua. The results of the study indicate that employees perceive work involvement and their performance at a moderate level on average. In addition, the hypothesis test conducted shows that work involvement has a positive influence on the performance of Kimia FarmaApotek Business Unit employees in Jayapura City, Papua. Having the opportunity to improve the employee experience during the Covid-19 pandemic phase by focusing on employee health and safety towards a more nuanced approach to creating a work environment that encourages passion, dedication, and devotion to serving customers.
Tidak dapat dipungkiri kondisi pandemi yang melanda seluruh dunia akibat penyebaran virus Covid 19 meluluh lantakan dunia perekonomian termasuk Indonesia. Tidak hanya perusahaan besar yang jatuh pailit menghentikan roda perekonomiannya bahkan perorangan pun baik yang mempunyai usaha atau tidak terkena imbasnya. Pengusaha baik skala besar maupun kecil saat ini sulit untuk naik kembali dalam menjalankan usahanya. Yang tidak mempunyai usaha pun terkena dampak dari rasa takut dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari. Pola pikir yang salah, ketakutan yang berlebihan menjadi penghambat dalam berjalannya kehidupan dalam keseharian. Hypnosis merupakan teknik komunikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengelola pola pikir yang salah atau berlebihan. Dengan metode hypnosis ini minimal dapat mengurangi kondisi ketakutan atau berlebihan sehingga dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari tidak akan terganggu.
Purpose: Universities, one of the elements of society, can assist BNN in dealing with and eradicating narcotics crimes. One of the Tridharma of higher education, namely community service, can participate in activities to help BNN. One of the things our team is doing is assisting BNN in nurturing fostered clients who have been rehabilitated by BNN to become entrepreneurs so as not to fall back into a dark world. Method: This method is carried out online for BNN-assisted clients by starting to develop a positive mindset that although former drug addicts they can be successful with one of them is to create jobs for themselves and the surrounding community. Result: The result will be continuous training for these BNN mentors and in the future it is hoped that there will be mentoring for those who open entrepreneurs. Limitation: The limitations of this activity are in terms of time and cost so that it can only be carried out for the West Java Province BNN in the meantime. Keywords: 1. Entrepreneurship 2.
