Pemilihan media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi masih jarang diterapkan terutama pada beberapa mata kuliah fisika yang dianggap tidak dapat tersampaikan dengan baik jika disampaikan dengan multimedia. Pada penelitian ini diterapkan media pembelajaran fisika digital book dengan kvisoft flipbook maker untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep mahasiswa terhadap materi kuliah Kapita Selekta Fisika Sekolah II dan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran fisika digital book. Peneliti menggunakan analisis multivariat yaitu MANCOVA dua arah dengan satu kovariat yang memanfaatkan program SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan digital book terhadap pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar mahasiswa dari rata-rata 70 untuk kelas kontrol (gain ternormalisasi 0,4) menjadi 84 untuk kelas eksperimen (gain ternormalisasi 0,7).
In the material of thermodynamics, many physics equations make students abstract in understanding the material. It is necessary to have a learning media to be able to visualize the thermodynamics material. Matlab is usually used in numerical analysis. Currently, Matlab can be used as a medium for learning physics by students to understand the material well. This study aims to develop a physics calculator application on the subject of thermodynamics using Matlab software. The research method used in this research is the research development method with the development model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were a validation test questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. The analysis technique applied is the descriptive analysis and the average analysis techniques. The results developed in this study are in the form of a Physics calculator application that helps physics calculations on thermodynamic material. The average validation result by material experts and media experts is 83.1%, with the "Good" category. In other words, according to experts, this media is suitable for use in physics learning. This application also received a positive response from students, with an average student response score of 79.8%. This application is also equipped with materials, physics calculators, physics simulations and question exercises so that it is expected to help students understand physics learning in thermodynamics material.
Physics learning with discovery learning approach requires students to be active in learning. In th schools in tangerang area, there is no discovery learning module available. the purpose of this research is to develop a physics learning module based on discovery learning on Motion materials. This research method is research & development with ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementetion, evaluation), using research instruments in the form of validation sheets. the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that discovery learning-based physics learning modules are worth testing and implementing to students. This module has characteristics according to discovery learning syntax and user friendly so that students can learn independently.
The material of parabolic motion is one of the materials considered difficult by most high school students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the parabolic motion with a contextual approach to throwing a basketball. The research method used was descriptive experimental, namely recording a video of throwing a basketball at a variation of the distance of 2 m, 3 m and 5 m from the thrower’s foot to the hoof. The video was analyzed using tracker software and the parameters measured were time of the ball to fly in the air, the farthest distance, maximum height and total velocity. The results obtained show that distance is directly proportional to time. The thrower was at a distance of 5 m from the foot of the basketball hoop represents more perfect parabolic motion. The conclusion is that basketball games can be used as a contextual approach to the parabolic motion material.
Hingga tulisan ini disusun, pandemi COVID-19 masih terus berlangsung, sementara proses pembelajaran harus terus berjalan, termasuk juga praktikum. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi percobaan yang dilakukan secara mandiri dengan studi kasus pada pengukuran kuat terang cahaya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melakukan pengukuran terhadap 2 sumber cahaya yaitu lilin dan senter handphone yang dilakukan pada variasi jarak 15 cm, 30 cm dan 45 cm, dengan menggunakan aplikasi smart lux meter. Hasil penelitian dibandingkan dengan rumus kuat penerangan yang sudah standar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa percobaan yang dilakukan secara mandiri, dengan menggunakan aplikasi yang ada pada smartphone, mempunyai tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, dengan nilai akurasi pengukuran kuat terang cahaya lilin dan cahaya senter handphone masing-masing sebesar 84,05% dan 83,32%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa percobaan yang dilakukan secara mandiri dengan menggunakan aplikasi smart lux meter mempunyai tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dan dapat digunakan sebagai solusi untuk kegiatan praktikum selama pembelajaran jarak jauh.
