RESUMOO objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a produção de pesquisas brasileiras em estratégia organizacional que abordam a Teoria dos Custos de Transação (TCT). Como método, optou-se pela realização de uma pesquisa documental e utilização da análise bibliométrica. Foram examinados aspectos metodológicos, palavras-chave, teorias e temas relacionados à TCT, autores e obras mais citados, bem como identificadas lacunas e sugestões para trabalhos futuros. Um dos achados está relacionado à aproximação de duas correntes teóricas: a TCT e a Visão Baseada em Recursos (VBR). Isso reforça o argumento de que é viável uma aproximação da TCT e da VBR no campo da estratégia para a melhor compreensão de um desempenho superior por parte da firma. This article presents the main findings of a survey conducted with the aim of describing the interplay of the variables organizational structure, organizational culture and human resource managementconsidering the assumptions of the business process orientation (BPO) approachand of identifying the relationship between these constructs and organizational performance, based on the four critical dimensions of the balanced scorecard technique: financial, customer/market, processes/capabilities and learning/growth. We used data from a sample of 368 medium and large Brazilian companies. By means of structural equations modeling we analyzed the associations between the constructs of the proposed nomothetic model. The results point to the existence of positive and statistically significant associations between the constructs investigated, except for the relationship between organizational structure and organizational performance. The results, including with respect to the relatively weak association between elements of organizational structure and performance, suggest that BPO initiatives can have a strong effect on organizational performance, adding to discussions of the theme.

Occupational accidents are a public health problem; therefore, it is necessary to conduct research that contributes to accident prevention and health promotion. To this end, this study aimed to investigate the main factors influencing work accidents at an electric power company. A survey of 1,027 in-house and outsourced employees of a large electric utility was conducted. The participants included injured and non-injured professionals. Organizational, personal/behavioral, and work/task factors were found to have statistically significant effects on work accident occurrence. As an academic and managerial contribution, the identification of the main factors that influence work accidents in the electric sector favors the development of strategies and actions for its control and mitigation.
Resumo O tema governo eletrônico (e-gov) aparece com frequência nos círculos acadêmicos, profissionais e políticos; consequentemente, o número de trabalhos publicados sobre a temática tem se ampliado. Nesse contexto, com o presente trabalho pretende-se analisar a evolução e a tendência dos estudos na área de governo eletrônico, com o objetivo de identificar a produção científica desta, por meio da análise de artigos científicos publicados em periódicos, indexados na base de dados Web of Science (WoS) de 1992 a 2018. Para tanto, foram analisados 1.516 artigos científicos publicados em periódicos por meio do software SciMAT. As análises possibilitaram identificar padrões como: frequência de estudos por ano, principais periódicos e autores no campo, assim como os trabalhos mais citados nos artigos constantes da amostra aqui considerada. Além disso, foi realizada uma análise de cocitação de palavras, que permitiu evidenciar os principais temas de pesquisa por período, bem como a evolução do campo de estudo. Os resultados indicam um crescimento das publicações sobre e-gov e o desenvolvimento de diferentes frentes de análise. Os principais temas que indicam tendências para estudos futuros voltados ao e-gov são: social media, technology acceptance model (TAM), transparency, acceptance e information system.
This article aims to present the Brazilian scenario about service innovation, bringing the results of an analysis made in Brazilian scientific journals in the business administration study area, with Qualis Capes classification equal or superior to B2. Based on the analysis of 36 articles, it was possible to notice that the Brazilian studies are characterized as empirical, cross-sectional and qualitative, being data collection based on interviews and documents, and data analysis mainly done by content analysis. The leading journal publishing about this subject is RAI and UnB as the institution that has the largest number of authors publishing on the subject. The most cited articles by these studies are Schumpeter (1985) and Barras (1986), and the information technology appeared as the main topic in service innovation. The collected results allowed the proposal of an agenda for future research. These opportunities for future research can contribute to the construction of a more consistent theoretical framework, allowing the progressive advancement of theoretical-empirical knowledge about service innovation in Brazilian organizations.
Processo de avaliação por double blind review _________________________ ResumoEste trabalho teve como objetivo buscar experiências na gestão de fluxos reversos na realidade empresarial brasileira, tomando-se por base os produtos farmacêuticos, pois são estes especialmente interessantes para a logística reversa já que possuem ciclos de vida pré-determinados, em decorrência dos prazos de validade. Dentro desse contexto, foram investigados os processos de logística direta e reversa de produtos farmacêuticos, do ponto de vista do fabricante, do distribuidor e do varejista. Por meio da análise das entrevistas, foi possível perceber que os retornos ocorrem em um percentual reduzido se comparado ao fluxo direto dos produtos. O resultado obtido reflete a grande preocupação dos agentes da cadeia em reduzir as perdas e seus custos, sejam elas por expiração do prazo de validade, seja por avaria ou erro na expedição dos pedidos, por meio de uma política de gestão do fluxo direto focada na demanda real do mercado e no aprimoramento dos processos. Tal percentual, juntamente com a perspectiva de que o fluxo reverso é resultado de erros nos processos do fluxo direto, torna inviável a criação de uma estrutura especializada com enfoque na logística reversa. Assim, percebe-se que as atividades ligadas à logís-tica reversa são desempenhadas em conjunto e são dependentes daquelas executadas pela logística direta. Porém, constatou-se que, pelo grau de importância apontado pelos distribuidores e varejistas, que este serviço é um fator diferenciador para as organizações da cadeia. These products are particularly interesting for reverse logistics because, as a result of its time of validity, have life cycles pre-determined. According to this context, the processes of forward and reverse logistics of pharmaceuticals were investigated, from the perspective of the manufacturer, distributor and retailer. Through analysis of interviews, it was revealed that the returns occur in a small percentage compared to the direct flow of products.
