Purpose: The paper aims to determine the values of the main morphological characteristics of nanopatterns, which can be considered as the reference for use as surfaces of solar cells. Design/methodology/approach: The article uses an approach based on the definition of reference indicators of nanopatterns for solar cells by analysing the main parameters of solar cells and comparing them with the possible values of morphological parameters. Correlations of pore radius and visible wavelength, porosity and visible range, wavelength of de Broglie, nanopatterned layer thickness and charge carriers diffusion length, etc., are analysed. Compliance verification of morphological characteristics of nanopatterns with the specified criteria was performed on the example of porous silicon layers. Findings: The conducted research allowed to define the basic values of morphological parameters of porous nanopatterns, namely porousness, pore size (effective diameter), the thickness of the porous layer, and form factor. Reference ranges of morphological parameters of nanopatterns formed on the surface of semiconductors for applications in solar cells are established. Research limitations/implications: The article is devoted to the choice of optimal morphological characteristics of porous nanopatterns on the surface of semiconductors for solar cells. However, for solar cells, other types of nanopatterns can also be applied, for which it is also necessary to develop methods for selecting optimal parameters. Moreover, the prospect of research on this topic is to check the intrusion into a certain range of values of real nanopatterns formed on the surface of semiconductors. Practical implications: In the article the methodology allowing to choose optimal values of morphological parameters of nanopatterns for its application for solar cells is considered. Such studies are of great practical importance for the production of high-quality solar cells based on nanopatterned semiconductors. Originality/value: The article for the first time considers the choice of the nanopattern type and the ranges of morphological parameters in terms of quality assurance of the final product – the solar cell. It is determined that it is necessary to take into account such factors as porousness, pore size, thickness of the porous layer and roundness. A range of optimal values is selected for each of the indicators.
The innovations in the educational policy of Ukraine are closely connected with global changes in all spheres of human activity: geopolitical problems, migration and emigration, interpersonal and professional contacts. The humanity is in the process of interconnection, interdependence and mutual influence of different countries, peoples and their cultures, religions. Consensus and conflict, cooperation and war make peculiar dialectical pairs, direction and intensity of which determine the viability of any human society. Today these processes in different ways have touched almost every country. Nearly all national and ethnic communities felt the influence of other peoples' cultures both in positive and negative way. This is the influence of cultural exchanges' quantity, direct contacts between state institutions, social groups, public movement and definite individuals of different countries and cultures. The significant increase of migrants and refugees caused by military actions and economic crisis creates additional social problems-ignorance of language and disrespect for the norms and traditions of countries in which they are located. Thus, in the center of intercultural interaction there is a person as a carrier of general human universals and national and cultural peculiarities, which requires certain knowledge, skills of intercultural communication. So, the ability of multilingual personality successfully communicates with representatives of other cultures is very important for today. It is the main task of intercultural training of pupils and student youth. That's why the question as for forming of intercultural communicative competence is very actual, after all it will allow representatives of national communities to adapt more successfully and also to work in the polyethnic environment of Ukraine. The priority directions of education development have been defined in legislative and normative documents which provide successful interaction in all spheres of life. In the proposed article we focus attention on understanding the problem of forming of multilingual personality and its social adaptation in the conditions of modern polycultural society, the cultivation of the culture of tolerant relationships through the forming of intercultural communicative competence at lessons of foreign language in general educational establishments of Ukraine.
The state and conditions of functioning of the Ukrainian language and languages of national minorities in Ukraine have led us to think about finding ways to balance the complex sociolinguistic situation in the country. In this regard, it is no coincidence the direction of modern linguadidactics on communicative and functional learning of designated languages in establishments of secondary education with multiethnic contingent of students. The social role of dialogue, connected with change of socio-cultural connections and cultural codes is becoming more and more important. The forming of global human civilization, numerous transnational and interregional conflicts, need for mutual understanding, cooperation and partnership have determined the relevance of the dialogical form of communication, which has led to a deepening of dialogue not only human thinking but also its civilized existence. The dialogical thinking is necessary for overcoming ideological stereotypes, the monopoly of thought and one-sidedness of globalism, for the forming of a person who would be able to build his relationship on the basis of humanization, finding a reasonable compromise, mutual respect, and tolerance. In the context of conceptual positions of modern rhetoric, the phenomenon of rhetorical dialogue as a unit of rhetorical communication is singled out. It is worth considering the rhetorical dialogue in the prospection of a relativistic aspect of modern rhetoric, taking into account the pragmatic sense of the influence of communicators on each other in the process of harmonizing dialogue, effective and optimal communication. That's why the intercultural dialogue in the process of forming of multilingual personality is defined as rhetorical. In the giving article, the subject of the discussion is highlighting the relevance of the intercultural dialogue as rhetorical on language lessons at schools with polyethnic contingent of pupils, clarification of the main aspects of dialogic interaction of contacting cultures, analysis of groups of national and specific vocabulary for learning by pupilspolylinguals.
In the context of conceptual statements of intercultural communication and modern rhetoric the phenomenon of dialogue as a unit of intercultural and rhetorical communication is defined. Rhetorical dialogue should be considered in the prospect of the relativistic aspect of modern rhetoric, emphasizing attention on the pragmatic sense of the influence of communicators on each other in the process of harmonizing dialogue, effective and optimal communication. That's why intercultural dialogue in the process of forming of multilingual personality is defined as rhetorical. The main purpose of the article is to highlight the relevance of intercultural dialogue as a rhetorical in foreign language lessons in the establishments of secondary education, to clarify the main aspects of dialogic interaction of contacting cultures. Considering the intercultural dialogue as rhetorical in the process of teaching pupils foreign languages, it is necessary to build the educational process on the conditions of realization of value-variable model of the educational choice, which according to conclusions of A.Kondakov, provides: 1) personality orientation of education; 2) value orientation of education (values harmonizes on the basis of the principle of complementarity in this way that dominate value surely reinforced by opposite); 3) principle possibility of modeling of educational programs with concrete number of variants with the aim of satisfaction of different educational needs. We consider the proposed concept as innovative and complement the principal position. We consider values and value orientations of the native speaker as sociocultural characteristics of personality, which appearing in speech become the pragmatic basis of the rhetorical texts of communicators and organizational basis of speech influence in the process of intercultural dialogue as rhetorical. The implementation of dialogic interaction of contacting cultures on foreign language lessons in the establishments of secondary education is socially necessary. At
The article is focused on the analysis of the aspects of intermediality in the novels "The Waves" and "To the Lighthouse" by Virginia Woolf within the context of the aesthetics of Impressionism. The interaction between two arts-literature and painting-is seen at micro-and macro levels of the texts that is the aim of the current scientific research. Macro-level expresses worldviews, paradigms, and philosophical approaches and concepts in the interpretation of the phenomena of the surrounding reality both of the characters and the author as the artists in narrow and wide meanings of this word. Micro-level is revealed by the using of painting techniques and pictorial markers while designing visual images, as well as the using of allusions of art movements. The author pays attention to the meaning of colors, light and shadow effects which create an additional semantic layer in the novel and have a symbolic meaning. Thus, the microsemantics connections are realized in the creation of the literary texts in accordance to the semantic dominant of the impressionistic aesthetics (painting themes and forms expressed with words, moreover with poetical tools). At the same time the interaction can be seen at the level of genre (landscapes and portrait made in the style of impressionists in the novel "The Waves" or cubists in the novel "To the Lighthouse"). The writer uses a lot of pictorial markers (canvas, touches, brushstrokes, names of colors etc.) that helps the reader to recognize the world of another art and is the material for thoroughly studying of literature criticism.
