ResumoEsta revisão sistemática teve como objetivo caracterizar a produção científica no Brasil sobre as pessoas em situação de rua. Foi realizada uma busca nas bases de dados Scielo e BIREME, com o descritor homeless, de artigos publicados por autores brasileiros que retratassem experiências nacionais nas áreas das Ciências Humanas e Sociais, entre os anos de 2008 a janeiro de 2018. Foram identificados 96 artigos, sendo selecionados e analisados 36 destes. Os resultados foram agrupados nas dimensões social e saúde. Os principais resultados foram: crescimento no número de publicações, principalmente na saúde, advindas de autores do Sudeste, com foco em São Paulo, pesquisas qualitativas, o cotidiano das ruas na dimensão social, e a saúde mental e o consumo abusivo de álcool e outras drogas na dimensão saúde. Sugere-se a ampliação da pesquisa para outros países e para as produções de teses e dissertações.
