The article analyzes the cultural and historical images transformation of the political elite representatives in the context of Russian political culture of the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. The transfer of the leader's traits popular among the population to the archaic basis of the heroa defender against the forces of evil and chaosis used by political strategists and journalists to construct attractive images of government officials. The authors argue that in the information age the qualified use of the hero's archetype allows accessing to the deep irrational layers of the electorate's subconscious and ensures elevated ratingsfrom the Russian President Vladimir Putin to heads of regions and municipal associations.
The role of a mining machine operator gradually reduces to monitoring and managing a technological facility in difficult situations as mining automation increases. The increasing complexity of mining technology leads to the fact that the driver’s qualification must be very high in accordance with the requirements of modern mining processes. The main characteristics of the work of the career excavator driver in the «man-machine-environment» system are faultlessness, speed, accuracy, reliability. The effectiveness of the entire system depends on how the human operator’s participation will be organized in the process of managing the facility.
The scientific article presents a study of the ways of expressing manipulation in politics, which is performed in English political discourse by means of language. Carefully selected language units, used by politicians in public speaking, in combination with social factors, can be a powerful instrument for managing public opinion, i.e. manipulation. The authors analyze public speeches delivered by English politicians. Manipulation is an integral part of American political discourse, all speech strategies of which are aimed at one purpose: to influence a recipient, persuade him or her to make a decision that will be beneficial for a politician. The article considers the main strategies, tactics and types of manipulation used in the modern political sphere. An analysis of public speeches of English politicians proves the importance of speech manipulative techniques for successful achievement of political goals.
The article presents the results of the control system development for the electro hydraulic drive of a mobile sinking hoisting plant. Increasing the technical performance of mobile sinking hoisting plants is possible by increasing their productivity, reducing their massiveness and increasing the durability of tractional organs and a number of units and parts of lifting machines. However, the increase in productivity, in its turn, causes the need to increase the suspended load on the traction organs, which causes a significant increase of the dynamic loads in the elastic elements in the transient operation modes of the hoisting plant. One of the ways to reduce constantly acting dynamic loads of vibration character is the use of a gearless hydraulic drive with damping properties. But, nevertheless, the hydraulic drive possibilities are limited for large vibration amplitudes of dynamic forces. The damping properties of the hydraulic drive can be increased by using control system, which allows realizing effective control of the electro hydraulic drive of the hoisting plant.
Meeting the growing needs of the state’s economy for the raw materials needed for the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals accelerates the technical re-equipment of the mining industry through the introduction of new, more powerful equipment. This circumstance determines the urgency in the automation of calculations at the design stage of mining machines. The originality of the developed software product is in consideration of the actual loads acting in the working equipment of a career excavator. Actual dynamic loads significantly exceed their calculated values, which leads to an increased number of structural element failures. At the design stage, with the use of the developed program, it is possible to establish rational cross-sectional dimensions of the handle metalwork taking into account the actual loads arising during the rock mass excavation and stress concentrators.
