Digital transactions help customers to get what they require without leaving their homes. This type of transaction is very practical, safe, and efficient. With a cell phone and internet, consumers can find various items they want quickly. On the other hand, it creates a problem for retail businesses that rely more on a direct selling system. It can be said that physical stores are depressed by a change in shopping trends to online shopping. The main objective of this study is to determine the extent of the influence of digital technology on the retail industry, especially in the culinary or food sector, while the specific objectives are determining the use of digital technology, determining the factors that influence digital technology in the retail industry and finding the contribution of digital technology on the retail industry. A quantitative method is used through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that the culinary industry, especially in M-Resto, has implemented a work process through digital technology applications. It also showed that the largest contribution comes from technology statements where 68% of respondents strongly agree that technology affects retail industries. The conclusion is that digital technology affects the retail industry, especially at M-Resto. Keywords: digital technology,retail industry,globalization
The fragrant lemongrass oil processing industry is one of the industrial activities that provides a major contribution in improving the economy of the community, especially the business actors involved, namely farmers and processing industries of fragrant lemongrass oil. Based on the results of preliminary research that has been carried out there is a major problem of lack of collaboration between industries of refined citronella oil refiners. The main objective of this study is to determine the right industrial symbiosis model for small and medium scale citronella oil processing industries so as to optimize the potential and resources possessed and be able to integrate it with other industries. The approach method used to support the success of the output target is to conduct a structured stage of research starting from preliminary studies, formulating the problem and determining the objectives of the study, literature study, determining the steps of research, gathering the required data, and designing industrial symbiosis models. The results obtained are that there are several industrial symbiosis alternative models for fragrant lemongrass (sereh wangi) distillation in accordance with the characteristics of each region.
The citronella oil refining industry contributes greatly to improving the community’s economy. In the supply chain of citronella oil, the community usually acts as a supplier (fragrant lemongrass farmers), manufacturers (distillers of citronella oil), and distributors (collectors of citronella oil). The main problem in the citronella oil refining industry is the uncertainty of the supply chain. Fragrant lemongrass supply chain mapping is done to determine the capacity and needs of all actors involved from raw material sources to retail consumers. Thus, the continuity of fragrant lemongrass supplies increased production capacity in refineries, and market potential can be estimated more precisely. On the other hand, integration between industries is needed to prevent the impact of environmental damage while increasing profits. The symbiosis model of the citronella refining industry is expected to optimize the potential and existing resources through an industrial system that is efficient, integrated, easy to implement, and environmentally sound. This paper will discuss how the application of supply chain management concepts in the symbiosis of the citronella refining industry so that the objectives of cooperation in the environmentally sound supply chain can be realized.
The problem in this study is complaints about the quality of laboratory services in the Faculty of Engineering which were delivered by students through a pre-research questioner. This problem needs to be corrected by measuring the quality of laboratory services so that it can increase satisfaction from students. The purpose of this research is to find out student satisfaction with the quality of services in the Faculty of Engineering laboratory. The method used in this study is the Service Quality (SERVQUAL). The results of the research obtained using the SERVQUAL model, the lowest values for each dimension were obtained. Tangible; laboratory room are clean, comfortable and spacious in accordance the standard national laboratory. Empathy; Assistants the Laboratory gives attention and prioritizes. Responsiveness; Assistants provide services quickly and precisely. Reliability; The assessment process is an objective and transparant. The Assurance; Assistant has the ability to answer all practical questions. The conclusion of the research that The priority to improve service quality the dimensions of tangible; laboratory room are clean, comfortable and spacious in accordance the standard national laboratory.
