A 0.35µm CMOS 16-cell read-out for an un-cooled VOx micro-bolometers array [1, 2] uses auto-ranging circuit to boosts the sensor dynamic-range with 19dB. Each device measures the electrical conductivity change of its sensor with respect to a common reference blind element. Before doing this, each readout channel accomplishes sequentially an automatic 10b-SAR calibration procedure, suppressing eventual sensor mismatches and drifts.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
