Dalihan na tolu is one of the North Sumatranese's local wisdom, acclaimed as a relationship form and a system of familiarity among Batak Toba. The value preserves a community balance of life. Gen Z, that is school pupils, occupied as a biggest consumer toward the advance of information technology. Otherwise, technological innovation potent negative impact on student attitudes and characters. Local wisdom should be an alternative solution on resisting negative impact since technological revolution. Through qualitative approach, this research illustrated the role of local wisdom in managing students in using technology. In this study, there are fundamental differences in attitudes of students in using technology. There are fundamental differences among students attitude who integrate local wisdom in applying technology and who do not. Participants of the research was teacher of history, since the subject bounds with the flowering morals value and ethics through historical and cultural relics. Dimana populasi Generasi Z merupakan para siswa/pelajar sekolah. Pertumbuhan teknologi bisa memberikan dampak negatif terhadap sikap dan karakter siswa. Kearifan lokal dalihan na tolu menjadi solusi alternatif dalam menahan faktor negatif dalam kemajuan teknologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, mengunakan pendekatan studi kasus yang berlokasi di Sumatera Utara. penelitian ini mengambil sampel dua sekolah yang berbeda wilayah dan demografis, untuk melihat peran kearifan lokal dalihan na tolu dalam mengontrol siswa mengunakan teknologi. Dalam penelitian ini, ada perbedaan yang mendasar terhadap sikap siswa yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dan yang tidak mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam mengunakan teknologi. Partisispan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru pelajaran sejarah. Di karenakan pelajaran sejarah sangat berkaitan terhadap penanaman nilai, moral dan etika melalaui peninggalanpeninggalan sejarah maupun kebudayaan. <em>This research aims to develop the Reflective-scientific Learning Model to accommodate 21st-century learning skills in learning history. The ADDIE instructional design was used as the research method to develop the learning model. The research participants were 120 senior high school students. The Reflective-scientific Learning Model consists of five learning stages: historical engagement, critical-exploration, communicative-explanation, creative-elaboration, and reflective evaluation. The research results prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed learning model in improving students' 21<sup>st</sup>-century learning skills in the learning history process. It means that the developed learning model can accommodate the needs of the 21<sup>st</sup>-century learning skills and the learning history objectives. Based on this research, the authors highlight that the elaboration of the learning model can provide a space for synchronizing learning history objectives with other educational concepts from various disciplines. Thus, further research and development in the history education landscape should provide more opportunities for elaborating the learning models to amend the role and impact of learning history in the 21<sup>st</sup> century</em><em>.</em>
<p><em>This study aims to describe the importance of a project based learning model in social studies learning to improve student achievement. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a naturalistic approach. This research was conducted at SMP IT MTA Karanganyar. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The research instrument is the author himself as a data collector. The data validation was done by using triangulation techniques, double checking, and peer question and answer. Data analysis was performed using interactive analysis techniques which included data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification of conclusion. From the research results it can be concluded that the project based learning model is very important in social studies learning to improve student achievement. The increase in student learning achievement can be seen in the increase in student learning outcomes in material relics of the Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia. Project Based Learning assists teachers in developing student skills in making products that have benefits for students in participating in classroom learning. This condition is the main asset used in implementing the 2013 curriculum to create a generation that is superior, intelligent, creative, has quranic morals and environmentally friendly characters.</em></p>
Demografi multikultural membuat Surakarta rapuh secara sosial dan juga rentan terhadap konflik etnis, terutama di antara orang Tionghoa dan Jawa. Sebagian besar konflik disebabkan oleh persaingan ekonomi yang mengakibatkan kekecewaan dan kecemburuan sosial di antara kelompok etnis Jawa terhadap etnis Tionghoa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan adalah model interelasi multi-etnis apa yang dapat mengakhiri konflik? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan tiga langkah, yaitu studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model dan evaluasi model. Studi pendahuluan dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan informasi komprehensif terhadap konflik etnis dengan menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam. Tahap pengembangan model dilakukan dengan menyusun model interelasi multi-etnis. Tahap terakhir adalah evaluasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikkan model interelasi multietnis dengan pendekatan budaya dan hubungan yang harmonis antara Tionghoa dan Jawa mendukung kegiatan ekonomi di Surakarta, khususnya bidang industri dan perdagangan. Due to its multicultural demographics, Surakarta is socially fragile and also vulnerable to ethnic conflict, especially between Chinese and Javanese. Economic competition results in most conflicts that lead to a situation of social disappointment and social jealousy among the Javanese ethnic groups towards the Chinese. Based on these problems, the research question raised is what multi-ethnic interaction model can conclude the conflict? To answer the question, this research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach with three steps, namely a preliminary study, model development and model evaluation. The preliminary study was conducted to gather comprehensive information on ethnic conflicts using in-depth interviews. The model development stage was carried out by developing a multi-ethnic interaction model. The last step is evaluation. The results of this study proved that the multi-ethnic interaction model with a cultural approach and harmonious relations between the Chinese and Javanese could support economic activities in Surakarta, especially in the fields of industry and trade.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pemberdayaan modal sosial dan modal budaya dalam pelaksanaan Kurikulum Pendidikan Budi Pekerti di SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta dan SMP Kasatriyan 1 Surakarta.Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistik. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta dan SMP Kasatryan 1 Surakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai pengumpul data. Untuk memperoleh derajad validitas tinggi, digunakan teknik trianggulasi, recheck, dan peerdebriefing. Analisis penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik analisis interaktif yang meliputi tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan verifikasi/menarik kesimpulan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Jaringan kerjasama yang sinergis dilandasi rasa percaya dan kesamaan nilai/norma merupakan modal sosial yang telah dimanfaatkan dan diberdayakan dalam rangka mendukung pelaksanaan kebijakan kurikulum pendidikan budi pekerti di SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta dan SMP Kasatriyan 1 Surakarta. (2) Kultur sekolah berbasis budi pekerti dan agama di SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta dan kultur sekolah berbasis budi pekerti dan multikultural serta kultur komunitas merupakan modal budaya utama yang dimanfaatkan dan dikelola dalam pelaksanaan Kurikulum Pendidikan Budi Pekerti.
