This study is aimed to develop teaching materials of basic electrical and electrical measurement, and to find out the feasibility of the teaching materials that have been developed in SMK Negeri 1 Koba Bangka. This study used the method of Research and Development (R & D) ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar dasar dan pengukuran listrik, dan mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan menurut expert judgment dan peserta didik di SMKN I Koba Bangka. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R & D) yang diawali dengan studi pendahuluan dilanjutkan tahap pengembangan dan penilaian produk. Subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari tiga orang expert judgement dan 28 orang peserta didik teknik instalasi pemanfaatan tenaga listrik. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik studi dokumentasi, wawancara dan kuesioner berupa angket. Prosedur penelitian ini adalah proses penyusunan bahan ajar dasar dan pengukuran listrik melalui tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: (a) Studi pendahuluan, dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap ketua program dan guru. Studi analisis silabus dan menganalisa kompetensi dasar dalam penyusunan bahan ajar (b) Mengumpulkan sumber belajar dan literatur serta pokok-pokok materi yang akan disusun. (c) Penyusunan draft bahan ajar dasar dan pengukuran listrik. (d) Uji coba terbatas produk. (e) Uji coba lebih luas produk. (f) Pengolahan data dan evaluasi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pengembangan bahan ajar mata pelajaran dasar dan pengukuran listrik yaitu bahan dikembangkan dari kurikulum 2013 dan silabus mata pelajaran dasar dan pengukuran listrik. Materi bahan ajar dikembangkan mulai dari materi arus listrik dan arus elektron, bahanbahan listrik, elemen pasif, elemen aktif, rangkaian resistif arus searah, teorema dua kutub, daya dan usaha, peralihan rangkaian, sistem satuan pengukuran, alat ukur dan pengukuran listrik, dan jenis alat ukur.Kata Kunci: pengembangan bahan ajar, pengukuran listrik PENDAHULUANMutu pendidikan merupakan konsekuensi langsung dari satu perubahan dan perkembangan dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd berbagai aspek kehidupan. This study investigated understanding of agricultural vocational school teachers about green skills and its entity in the curriculum. Data were gathered through survey of teachers from fifteen agricultural vocational high school of agricultural food processing technology study program in West Java Province, Indonesia regarding their understanding about green skills. The results showed that the teachers had less knowledge of green skills, limited to environmental issues. However, they agreed that students needed to be equipped with green skills. The entity of green skills has not been stated explicitly in the curriculum of agricultural vocational school. However, the teachers argued that green skills could be embedded in the subjects of the existing curriculum. The findings of this preliminary study indicated the need to increase teacher understanding of green skills and curriculum development in agricultural vocational schools to meet industrial needs in order to support sustainable development in accordance with the UNESCO strategy for vocational education.
One of the global issue trends in vocational education is greening to support the achievement of sustainable development. Industry as one of the main stakeholders of vocational schools needs to know their views regarding the skills of prospective workers they need. This study aims to identify industry perceptions on the necessity of green skills in agribusiness vocational graduates. Five elements of green skills studied here are environmental awareness, innovation skills, communication skills, adaptability, and management of waste. A descriptive research design with quantitative approach was used in this research. Data was be gathered through a questionnaire involving fifty practitioners from various types of food industries. The result showed that the industry practitioners agreed that green skills is required by agribusiness vocational graduates. This finding can be used as a guide in integrating green skills into the agribusiness vocational curriculum by considering the skills most needed based on industry perceptions.
Green skills need to be developed in vocational education for sustainable future.However, the vocational high school curriculum of agricultural food processing technology in Indonesia does not explicitly state the development of green skills.Teaching materials, such as module are needed to develop vocational students' green skills. This study aimed to develop green skills module for meat processing technology at vocational high schools. Development of this module used the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model. The contents for a green skills module were developed based on a need analysis for the elements of green skills that must be developed in vocational high schools, curriculum and a literature review analysis related to sustainability in meat processing technology. The module was designed using a scientific approach to strengthen active student learning as per the 2013 curriculum policy for vocational high schools in Indonesia. The developed module was sent to the four selected experts for validating. It gained score of 88.56% in material aspect about meat processing technology by the material experts and 89.18% in media aspects by the media experts. These scores mean that the module was categorized as very feasible. Based on the pre-test and post-test of students' green skills with this module, the calculation of n-gain test was 0.4 which means moderate category. The findings of this study imply that the module can be used in learning to improve student's green skills. This study may be adapted for the development of other subject modules in vocational schools.
Abstrak: Sejak tahun 2005 Direktorat PSMK telah mencanangkan program nasional pengembangan SMK secara besar-besaran dengan skenario penambahan jumlah siswa SMK dan pengurang jumlah siswa SMA atau dikenal dengan skema 70:30. Pertimbangan fundamental nya adalah mengurangi tingkat pengangguran di level lulusan SMA akibat tidak dapat meneruskan studi ke jenjang lebih tinggi. Sedangkan memperluas pendidikan SMK diharapkan daya serap lapangan kerja di industri semakin besar. Implikasi dari program nasional di atas adalah terjadinya 'booming' SMK-SMK baru dari kota sampai ke berbagai pelosok daerah. Beberapa SMK baik negeri maupun swasta bermunculan secara cepat, bahkan di beberapa daerah ada gedung SD, SMP atau SMK yang dipakai untuk membuat SMK. Kondisi ini tentunya sangat mengkhawatirkan, di satu sisi sejalan dengan program nasional namun di sisi lain peningkatan kuantitas tersebut tidak berkorelasi linear dengan kualitas. Belum lagi kesesuaian program kompetensi SMK tersebut apakah sudah melewati studi kajian yang mendalam sehingga akan memberikan dampak terhadap daya serap industri. Oleh karena itulah secara berkala perlu dilakukan pemetaan secara komprehensif terhadap seluruh SMK yang ada mulai dari ketersediaan guru, program keahlian, infra struktur, perkembangan siswa, penambahan jumlah guru, daya minat masyarakat, termasuk program-program yang dilaksanakan di SMK. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian berupa descriptive methode, yaitu menggambarkan kondisi SMK yang ada di masing-masing daerah studi. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode sensus dan dokumentasi.
