Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan nilai-nilai dasar yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan untuk membangun wawasan global warga negara muda. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode grounded theory. Sumber data terdiri atas sumber kepustakaan dan responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai dasar yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan untuk membangun wawasan global warga negara muda dalam konteks Indonesia antara lain adalah ketuhanan, kemanusiaan, persatuan, kerakyatan, keadilan sosial, kompetisi, menghormati orang lain, kemerdekaan, dan perdamaian.Kata Kunci: pendidikan kewarganegaraan, wawasan global, warga negara muda CIVIC EDUCATION TO BUILD YOUNG CITIZENS' GLOBAL INSIGHTAbstract: This study was aimedtofind thebasic valueswhich needed tobe developedin civic education to build young citizens' global insight. This study utilized the qualitative apporach with the grounded theory method. The data source consisted of literature and respondents selected using the purposive sampling method. The data were collected using the documentation, interviews, and observations. The data were analyzed using the inductive analysis. The findings showed that the basic values which needed tobe developed in civic education to build a global insight of young citizens in the context of Indonesia include: divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, social justice, competition, respect for others, freedom, and peace. Peristiwa yang terjadi di suatu negara dapat dengan mudah diketahui oleh seseorang yang berada di negara lain. Informasi dengan cepat mengalir ke berbagai belahan dunia dengan bantuan teknologi internet. Penggunaan teknologi internet memudahkan orang di seluruh penjuru planet bumi untuk mengakses informasi tanpa mengenal batas waktu dan wilayah. Internet dapat berperan dalam pertukaran informasi dan ide-ide antara pemerintah dan warga negara (Kim dkk, 2011: 809). Islamic boarding school (pesantren) is the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. Pesantren is recognized as one of the institutions that can encourage the realization of multiculturalism amongst Muslims. However, recently pesantren has been alleged to be one of the centers for the spread of religious radicalism. This study is aimed at analyzing multicultural education in salaf (traditional) pesantren, that is appropriate and be able to prevent the growth and development of religious radicalism in Indonesia. The study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach involving four salaf pesantrens in Java; namely Al-Qadir Pesantren of Sleman Yogyakarta, Dar al-Tauhid of Cirebon, Roudlatuth Thalibin of Rembang, and Tebuireng of Jombang. The research data were collected by observation, interviews, documentation, and focus-group discussions (FGD). Data were analyzed using an interactive technique. Findings showed that the forms of multicultural education at the four salaf pesantrens generally have similarities in the application of multiculturalism core values. However, each pesantren has its own specific peculiarities. The various cultures built up by the four caregivers of the salaf pesantrens have been effective to prevent the growth and development of religious radicalism at the pesantren, particularly, and in the society, more generally.
The study has developed an android-based mobile application that can assist in the teaching-learning process of civic education in senior high schools. As a research-and-development activity, it employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Based on validation by material experts, the developed application was very feasible to use (89.04%), and the media experts concurred with this assessment (90.78%). During the large-group trials, the application scored between 3.96 and 4.68, meaning that it provides an excellent media or platform with high feasibility for the teaching-learning process of civic education in senior high schools.
Educational issues require special attention, especially those related to character. Learning in boarding-based schools is one option to overcome character problems, especially disciplined characters. This research was conducted at MBS Muhiba Yogyakarta as one of the boarding-based schools in the city of Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research was a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was obtained by observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The instruments were interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation guidelines. The subjects in this study were the director and teacher. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis which includes; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the strengthening students discipline character of learning in boarding-based schools was carried out through; use of the inquiry learning model based on contextual, Islamic habituation, one of rule, the provision of penalties and gifts, and role model. The obstacle reinforcement of strengthening discipline character of students at boarding-based school includes specific obstacles such as; difficulty in planning material concepts and difficulty in designing the flow of thought. General obstacles in learning include; the difficulty to cooperate with parents in implementing one of rule, the teacher's insistence to implement discipline, and the lack of attention given to learning.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang upaya yang dilakukan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan antikorupsi dalam pembelajaran PKn untuk menanamkan kejujuran dan kendala yang dihadapi guru untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan antikorupsi dalam pembelajaran PKn. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 8 Kota Yogyakarta dengan subjek penelitian guru pendidikan kewarganegaraan dan siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru PKn dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan antikorupsi dalam pembelajaran PKn dengan cara menyisipkan nilai-nilai antikorupsi dalam materi pembelajaran yang relevan. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru PKn antara lain terkait dengan permasalahan waktu dan kesulitan dalam memilih metode pembelajaran yang tepat.Kata Kunci: Antikorupsi, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, Kejujuran
