Abstrak-Salah satu kawasan wisata di Kabupaten Tanah Laut adalah Air Terjun Bajuin. Kawasan Wisata Air Terjun Bajuinmemerlukan tanaman yang memiliki potensi sebagai tanaman hias untuk menambah daya tarik. Salah satu famili tumbuhan yang ada di kawasan Air Terjun Bajuin adalah Famili Palmae. Beberapa spesies Famili Palmae memiliki Potensi sebagai tanaman hias misalnya Areca catechu. Kajian tentang asosiasi tumbuhan dapat digunakan untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan antara satu spesies dengan spesies yang lain dalam suatu komunitas tumbuhan. Hal ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk melihat pengaruh keberadaan suatu spesies terhadap spesies lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asosiasi dan tipe interaksi antar spesies famili Palmae di kawasan Air Terjun Bajuin Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode transek dengan observasi langsung. Plot yang digunakan berukuran 10 x 10 m 2 . Jumlah titik pengambilan sampel adalah 40 titik. Asosiasi antar spesies tumbuhan ditentukan dengan tabel contingency 2x2. Adapun indeks asosiasi ditentukan dengan menghitung indeks Ochiai, Dice, dan Jaccard. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 8 spesies yang ditemukan sehingga ada 28 kombinasi asosiasi antar spesies yang diuji. Berdasarkan hasil uji asosiasi, 25 kombinasi menunjukkan tidak ada asosiasi antar spesies. 3 kombinasi lainnya menunjukkan adanya asosiasi, dimana ada 2 asosiasi positif dan 1 asosiasi negatif. When building roads in swampy areas, several problems include soil with low bearing capacity, scarce and expensive embankment materials are often met. Although local materials can be an alternative for backfill materials, this research focuses on the use of local soil as backfills by utilizing geotextile as soil stabilization. The case study was conducted in Tapin, South Kalimantan. The trial embankment method was used; thus, the road performance was observed primarily in a quite long time -not only because of the soil layers but also because of the traffic above it. Two types of embankment models were used. Embankment 1 utilized the ordinary backfill material transported from off-site. Whereas the backfill used for the Embankment 2 was local material. The number of geotextile layers installed was adjusted to the stability analysis of each embankment. A couple of direct observations were done, such as vertical settlement and horizontal deformation using a settlement plate and inclinometer, respectively. The numeric analysis was also performed using a finite element method to learn the influence of the geotextile toward embankment stability. The result shows that the settlement that occurs to the embankment with the usual backfill material is bigger than the one with the combination of the local soil. There is no difference in the visual values of the road between the ordinary backfill material and the local backfill material.
High-density claystone mixtures have been suggested as liners in radioactive waste repositories. However, this material can also be used as a liner in landfills. This study focuses on swelling characteristics of compacted claystone-bentonite at a low density for landfill applications. Claystone was taken from the Banjarbakula landfill project in Banjarbaru. The bentonite used is a commercially available bentonite from Indonesia. Claystone was mixed with 5, 10, 15, and 20% of bentonite on a dry weight basis. The mixture was statically compacted with moisture contents of 10, 15, and 20% to achieve a dry density of 16 kN/m3. A swell-load test was carried out using conventional oedometer equipment to obtain the swelling potential and swelling pressure of the samples. The results show that the swelling potential and swelling pressure increased with an increase in bentonite contents. At a bentonite content of more than 10%, both increased significantly. This research also revealed a linear relationship between swelling potential and swelling pressure.
Abstract, in case of the construction of road in soft soil, it is necessary toconsider the use of materials around the road construction site, and not touse selected material which is imported from outside the road constructionsite. Thus, aim to overcome the difficulties of using selected materials, namely the difficulty to obtain the materials, the price of expensivematerials , the freight of material that could takes a long time period, highcost, and the use of materials that tend to be environmentally unfriendly. Itis very necessary to learn about the use of nonstandard additive materials, taken to the road construction site, but with the use of geotextilereinforcement. The research method used is a full scale method in the formof trial embankment, so that the performance of the road can be observedfor a long period of time due to the traffic and soil settlement. The resultsobtained is settlement that occur on the road from the combination ofordinary embankment material and local material, most frequently occuredin a larger percentage of ordinary embankment than the local material. While the visual value is relevant to the settlement in which a largerpercentage of ordinary embankment results in a better visual value, due tothe quality of the ordinary embankment material is better than the localmaterial.
Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) menjadi paradigma baru pendidikan Indonesia. MBKM bertujuan mendorong mahasiswa menguasai berbagai keilmuan, hard skills dan soft skills dalam dunia kerja. MBKM dirumuskan berdasarkan landasan filsafat pendidikan barat dan timur. Penelitian ini mencoba mendialogkan harapan baik, tujuan dari masing-masing aliran filsafat (das sollen) yang dikorelasikan dengan realitas dan kesenjangan penerapan MBKM (das sein) agar memperoleh gambaran yang holistik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan hermeneutika filosofis. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filosofis MBKM memiliki relevansi dengan landasan pendidikan humanisme, konstruktivisme dan progresivisme. Merdeka Belajar juga sudah digagas oleh KH Dewantara dan beberapa tokoh pendiri bangsa lainnya secara tersirat dan tersurat. Program Mahasiswa Magang Bersertfikat dan Kampus Mengajar merupakan kegiatan MBKM yang memfasilitasi mahasiswa mengembangkan kompetensi mengajar di luar kelas. Kebijakan mbkm secara filosofis memberikan manfaat untuk peningkatan mutu kampus. Mutu kampus dapat diakselerasi melalui penambahan sarana dan prasarana, tenaga pendidik yang berkualitas, dan kurikulum yang mendukung, mengingat masih terdapat kendala dalam implementasinya. The learning process in the classroom will work well with the active participation of students in the activities in it, which can increase interest and motivation and deepen understanding of ongoing learning, especially in this digital era. Most student learning activities cannot be separated from what is called a smartphone or device. many learning resources that can be accessed by students, one of which is the "Mutasi ver 1.1" application for android. Mutation application ver 1.1 is an Android-based product that can be developed as a learning medium for students while mutation is an abstract 12th grade Biology Concept and tends to be difficult for students so it is interesting to develop. This development research aims to provide an overview of the validity and practicality of the learning process facilities for the Mutation Application ver 1.1. This development research uses a 4D model but only reaches the Development stage. The results of the development of the Mutation ver 1.1 application show that the application is very effective with a value of 94.80% and practical with a value of 85.27% as a learning process for the concept of Mutation for class XII.
Water containing sulfuric acid with a pH up to 3 is prevalent in swampy areas. This article focuses on the effects of the solution on volume change of compacted claystone?bentonite mixture. Claystone was obtained from Banjarbakula landfill and it was mixed with bentonite on a 5, 10, 15, and 20% dry mass basis. Samples possessed the dry density of 16 kN/m3 and moisture content of 10, 15, and 20%. The odometer examined the samples' swelling and compression in both pure and acidic water. Characterization tests i.e., XRF, XRD, and FTIR were also performed. The results showed that swelling and compression were affected by initial moisture and bentonite content. Samples with a moisture content of 20% showed compression in acidic water. Acidic water changed the water absorbed on the clay surface without altering the mineral. A mixture containing 20% bentonite compacted to optimum moisture content was found at best in reducing the acidic water effects.
Pada masa pandemic covid-19 siswa menghadapi pembelajaran jarak jauh. Berbagai permaslahan muncul terutama adanya penurunan prestasi, kebosanan hingga adanya ancaman siswa putus sekolah. Bedasarkan hal tersebut maka diperlukan suatu karakter yang dapat menguatkan siswa untuk tetap bersemangat dalam menuntut ilmu dimasa pandemic covid-19. Tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan adalah untuk membentuk karakter tangguh pada siswa SMPN 27 Banjarmasin dalam menghadapi pembelajaran jarak jauh sehingga mampu lebih stabil dan kuat dalam menyesuaikan diri pada proses pembelajaran yang terdampak pandemic covid-19. Karakter tangguh hadir dengan membawa 3C, yaitu aspek dari hardiness yang berupa tantangan, control dan komitmen. Aspek tersebut mampu membuat siswa lebih kuat dan stabil dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran dimasa pandemik. Lebih kuat dan bersemangat dalam mengejar cita-cita sehingga mampu meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang akan menjadi penerus bangsa. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan yang menekankan pada keterampilan sehingga mampu membentuk karakter tangguh (hardiness). Ppelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga sesi selama dua hari dengan total waktu 6 jam. Hasil dari pelatihan ini siswa memiliki pemaham mengenai ketangguhan. Mampu membayangkan cita-cita dan menjadi bersemangat untuk mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh walaupun terdapat sejumlah kendala. Selain itu seluruh siswa merasa tertantang untuk melakukan pembelajarn jarak jauh untuk menghasilkan prestasi sebagai upaya untuk meraih cita-citanya.
