The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of online lecturing in improving skills of early childhood teacher in handling children with special needs in Sidoarjo. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative type. Research subject in this study was 20 early childhood teachers that consisted of 14 teachers of Peek a Boo School and 6 teachers of Permata Bunda School Sidoarjo. The collecting data techniques in this study were interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used folllow analysis techniques of Miles Huberman which the steps are data reduction, data display and verification. Result shown that e-lecturing implementation was divided into 3 activities, namely (1) preparation, (2) implementation, and (3) evaluation. The activities carried out in the preparation phase are 1) coordinating with schools partner, 2) preparing training materials, and 3) making online classes. While the implementation phase includes 2 activities, namely 1) training, and 2) accompaniment. The training was carried out in two ways, namely (a) face-to-face training at partner schools and (b) online training. While the implementation of accompanimentis carried out by assisting the teacher during the implementation of the identification, assessment and making Individualizes Education Program (IEP). In the evaluation phase the team evaluated whether online lecturing training were effective in improving teachers' understanding and skills in handling children with special needs, especially in the identification, assessment and making IEP.
Children with hearing impairment known to have an average IQ below average. After further analysis the results are obtained because the tests given are verbal test. Whereas for children with hearing impairment, they have difficulty in understanding verbal language. Therefore, it is necessary to develop intelligence tests media adjusted to their characteristics. The aim of this study was to describe the intelligence test media as product developed and to describe the feasibility of product developed. This research used Research and Development research (R & D) that consisting of 5 stages start from research and information gathering to main product revision. The research subjects in this study were 2 psychologists, 2 media experts (design), 2 teachers of children with hearing impairment, and 6 students of SDLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya consisting of grade 1-6 elementary school. The primary data collection technique in this study was through questionnaire and observation. The data analysis technique used quantitative data analysis techniques. Then data were evaluated according to the feasibility criteria of the rating with the score of 0.00−5.00 (not feasible-very feasible). The result of this research was intelligence test media for children with hearing impairment that are visualized into sign language and animation videos. Based on the results of the content expert, media, readability and field test, the result was 3,538 (feasible), 4 (very feasible), 3,945 (feasible), and 3,869 (feasible). Based on the results it can be concluded that the intelligence test media for children with hearing impairment is feasible.
Bimbingan karier merupakan layanan yang mengarah kepada pemahaman potensi peserta didik dan pengarahan potensi tersebut kepada karier yang sesuai. Tes bakat dan minat karier mendukung guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan karier. Pengabdian terkait tes bakat dan minat karier dilakukan dengan metode workshop untuk menjelaskan terkait karier dan diakhiri dengan pemberian tes bakat dan minat karier. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMKS Raden Paku Gresik dan hasil dari pengabdian ini yakni peserta didik mengetahui bakat dan minat kariernya berdasarkan teori kepribadian karier Holland.
