Social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, G Plus, Tumblr and Blogs have been used widely in business nowadays and it grows day by day especially when customers can purchase the products just by one click. Therefore, this study is designed to briefly review the use of social media on promoting business, based on the analysis of the relevant literature review in this field. The main purpose of this paper is to identify various social media used for promoting business, the relevance of using social media in promoting business and also to find out the factors for customer's attraction towards purchasing online. The method used in this study is by referring to the secondary sources like ejournal, books and also thesis. The information from these secondary sources were searched and analysed based to the objectives and issues of this study. For the overall conclusion, the findings shows that there are a lot of social media used in promoting business like Facebook, Flickr, Groupn, twitter and others. However, the social Facebook has dominated others. Other than that, from this study it shows that the social media is a relevant medium to promote business as the social media very popular among the society around the world. Social media is also able to approach customers with interactive objectives such as conversation, sharing and able to persuade the customers. The findings from this study may help the sellers to plan their business well especially by promoting their products or services using social media.
Abstract. Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) effect is a study on motion of electrical-conducting fluid under magnetic fields. This effect has great intention due to its applications such as design of heat exchanger and nuclear reactor. In the problem in fluid motion, flow of separation can reduced the effectiveness of the system as well as can increased the energy lost. This study will present the results on reducing the flow separation by considering magnetic effect. In this study, unsteady mixed convection boundary layer flow past a circular cylinder is given attention. Focus of study is on the separation times that affected by the magnetic fields. The mathematical models in the form of partial differential equations are transformed into nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations and solved numerically using an implicit finite-difference scheme known as Keller-box method. The effect of magnetic parameter on velocity and temperature profiles as well as skin friction and Nusselt number are studied.
The study of mass transfer in the non-Newtonian fluid is essential in understanding the engine lubrication, the cooling system of electronic devices, and the manufacturing process of the chemical industry. Optimal performance of the practical applications requires the appropriate conditions. The unsteady transient free convective flow of second-grade fluid with mass transfer and wall transpiration is concerned in the present communication. The behavior of the second-grade fluid under the influence of injection or suction is discussed. Suitable non-dimensional variables are utilized to transform the governing equations into non-dimensional governing equations. A Maple solver “pdsolve” that is using the centered implicit scheme of a finite difference method is utilized to solve the dimensionless governing equations numerically. The effects of wall injection or suction parameter, second-grade fluid viscoelastic parameter, Schmidt number, and modified Grashof number on the velocity and concentration profiles are graphically displayed and analyzed. The results show that with increasing wall suction, viscoelastic parameter, and Schmidt number, the velocity and concentration profiles decrease. Whereas, the velocity profiles show an opposite tendency in situations of wall injection. The wall suction has increased the skin friction and also the rate of mass diffusion in the second-grade fluid.
In this paper, the unsteady magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) mixed convection flow of nanofluid at lower stagnation point past a sphere is studied. Nanoparticles Cu and TiO2 with water as a base fluid are considered. The separation times of the flow as the boundary layer start to separate at the surface of the sphere are given attention. The governing boundary layer equations in the form of partial differential equations are transformed into nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations and solved numerically using an implicit finite-difference scheme known as Keller-box method. Results of the separation times of boundary layer flow for viscous and nanofluid influenced by magnetic parameter and volume fraction are shown in tabular form and analysed. This study concluded that the separation times can be delayed by added more magnetic particles and small amount the volume fraction.
