Abstract. Great shifts -genuine and radical transformation -have been shaping the economy and business environment in recent decades. The world is going to be too tough and competitors too ingenious as companies are shaken loose from traditional ways of conducting business. Therefore, the old principles no longer work in the age of Globalization.Based on her research, Dr Radović Marković tried to make a profi le of a successful organization which will be in the best way adopted to business environment in the new economy. Namely,in order to get a complete picture how the winning organization will look like in the future, the author concluded that the successful companies in the future will be the ones which are wise enough to harness the full potential of the entire organization in the rapidly changing business environment .It means that the winners will be the unbridled fi rms that are responsive to challenges and adroit in both creating opportunities and capturing them. In other words, to match the business environment that is more networked within and among companies, the ability to manufacture value will have to be distributed across the company to a much greater extent than in the past. Under these circumstances, managers need to transform themselves, too. They need to have a better framework for thinking about and understanding organizational change. Additionally, continuous learning is the key competency required by any organization that wants to survive and thrive in the newknowledge economy. Market champions keep asking learning questions, keep learning how to do things better, and keep spreading that knowledge throughout their organization. Knowledge organizations obtain competitive advantage from continuous learning, both individual and collective, concluded Dr.Radović Marković.The author also stresses that it is necessary to determine general personal knowledge and education, then to examine knowledge or various specializations in certain areas and lastly to identify their skills. Recent researches in the USA show that business owners who were not educated enough for the business in which they were engaged, were not successful (80 % of their businesses failed during the fi rst year of their existence). On the opposite, those entrepreneurs who were educated and who showed constant interest in improving their activities have increased their business success by 60 % after the completion of the basic training programs for entrepreneurship and management. Therefore the author pointed out that more highly skilled workforce should be benefi cial to organizations. Additionally, the human capital approach refl ects the view that the market value of the fi rm increasingly depends on intangible rather than tangible resources. The three main components of human capital are described as a) early ability, b) qualifi cations and knowledge acquired through education and c) skills, competencies and expertise through on-and off-the-job training. This would suggest that individual capability is enhanced by greater quali...

This research was conducted in Jinaigati upazila of Sherpur district in Bangladesh. A total of 80 respondents (women) from this upazilla of Sherpur were selected purposively using simple random sampling. The quantitative data were collected by in depth interviewing of the 80 respondents through personal interview. The quantitative analytical tools used to attain specific objectives included various descriptive statistics, functional analysis, multiple regression co-efficient, used to identify the factors of influencing women’s income through small-scale agricultural farming. Problem Confrontation Index (PCI) used through different problems identified scores. In accordance with the results of the educational level of woman, other sources of income, experience and training, access to credit, decision-making ability have a positive influence on rural women’s income, and these variables were statistically significant. From the Problem Confrontation Index, it was found that lack of capital was the first ranked problem, need-based training the second ranked problem, high interest rate the third ranked problem, insufficient farm size the fourth ranked problem, and lack of quality of seed the fifth ranked problem. Their income from this brought remarkable positive change in their life and they had better control over their decisions and income. Finally, their active economical participation in small-scale farming assists them to overcome prejudice, socio-economic barriers, and highest empowerment attainment in the context of Bangladesh—and, if the government takes proper initiative in terms of gender policy, then rural women’s income and livelihood status will be increased remarkably.

Abstract. The objective of this paper is to analyze education through e-learning. The author presents an overview of some recent projects with focus on Serbia and uses their results to discuss advantages of using e-learning as an alternative opportunity and support to "face-to-face" education. From the author's viewpoint, it is believed that online learning will not replace face-to-face learning but still should be offered as a style of learning that suits students needs. Through the research done on this subject, it has been identifi ed that online learning can assist in complementing studies when coupled with faceto-face learning. In addition, the author's fi ndings suggest that without good policy and fi nancial support there is no good interaction between e-learning (classroom learning )or face-to-face learning and e-learning .

The combination of accelerated digitalization and the recent COVID-19 crisis has increased the number of remote workers worldwide to unimaginable proportions. Among the large number of remote workers that execute their projects from home, there is a significant number of permanently self-employed remote workers, usually referred to as freelancers. Despite the importance of this kind of business activity for modern project management society, perceived drivers of freelancing are still unknown. The goal of this paper was to shed some light on the general subjective well-being of freelancing activity and investigate differences concerning gender, age, and education. The study was performed in late 2020 and included 471 freelancers from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Montenegro that participated in an online questionnaire evaluating their subjective well-being while participating in the “gig” economy. Factor analysis was used as a primary statistical method and two major groups were identified: (1) Impact of working from home on a freelancer’s personal life and health and (2) Fulfillment of expectations in the economic and professional sense. Gender was found not to be significant for overall work satisfaction. However, older freelancers proved to be more satisfied with the fulfillment of economic and professional expectations, which correlate with years of professional experience. Another conclusion is that more educated freelancers are generally less satisfied with both groups of drivers - fulfillment of personal life and professional expectations. Understanding how the combination of occupations, technological infrastructure, and demographic characteristics in the region has affected the well-being of freelancers may help policymakers and organization owners, as well as future entrepreneurs, better prepare for this model of work in the future. It also increases the possibility of exploring individual dimensions of wellbeing useful for targeting interventions at the level of each country separately. In line with this, the present study contributes to the existing body of knowledge and the impact of hybrid models of work on the subjective well-being of workers in the “gig” economy.
