The research was conducted on the process of making Sohun Noodle in Klaten, Central Java. The manufacturing process was carried out by five workers at four work stations with 18 activities. The purpose of this study was to observe, evaluate and analyze the worker posture using The Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) and The Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assessment (WERA) method. The steps of the study using the OWAS method are: taking a picture of work posture, identifying the weight of the load, the process of assessing work posture, and categorizing risks. The steps of the research using the WERA method are: taking pictures of work postures, identifying body postures on the neck, shoulders, back, wrists and legs, identifying weight loads, duration of work, vibrations, contact stress, identifying risk factors, assessing work postures, and categorizing risks. The next step is processing statistical data, namely: normality test, comparative test, and correlation test using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) Version 21.0 for parts shoulders/arms, back, legs posture, weight/strength. The result of the OWAS method shows that there are two very risky activities and needs improvement now, i.e. the activity of inserting zinc into a press machine, and the activity of putting zinc containing sohun noodle into first drying. The result of the WERA method indicates that all activities are included in the medium level actions so that further investigation and change is needed. The results of statistical tests using SPSS Version 21.0 are: a comparative test on shoulders/arms and back there is a significant difference and in legs posture and weight / strength there is no significant difference. Whereas in the correlation test for shoulders/arms, back, and weight / strength there is a significant correlation between the OWAS and WERA methods.
This research focuses on the improvement of Small and Medium Enterprises through the used of Process Statistical Control (SPC). An industry that focuses on the fish paste (known as "otak-otak") production was taken as the case study in this research and the problems analysed are based on the real industrial experiences. The data collection for control charts were recorded for two weeks consisting of working time for each operator. The data were collected in subgroup of 16 with sample size of 5. The collection of data for weight of product was recorded randomly for the whole production line, while data collection of working time of operation was taken randomly from each operator every 30 minutes of the working hour. From this study, there are several problems had been detected in the process that been categories in six element that is people, method, measurement, machine, environment and materials. There were lack of motivation, lack of skill, lack of supervision, manual operation, lack of standard of procedure, waiting time in process, weight-based operator, lack of quality check, not using weight scale, conveyer that sometimes got stuck, spoon for tools, no automation, poor layout arrangement, talking while working, small working space, lack of hygiene, waiting time for material and easily spoiled. The findings can be used as the guideline to the industries for future production improvement. The industries would focus on elimination or reduction of the problems through their innovative solution.
Pengelolaan data pasien di klinik Pratama Imam Syuhodo PKU Muhammadiyah Cabang Blimbing masih bersifat manual sehingga pelayanan pasien masih terbatas dan database rekam pasien belum tertata dengan baik. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi manajemen klinik berbasis website. Perancangan diawali dengan identifikasi kebutuhan sistem (hardware dan software), dilanjutkan perancangan sistem (context diagram, data flow diagram, entity relationshi diagram, dan RFID dengan RC 522 dan NodMCU 3.2.8). Implementasi dan pengujian sistem merupakan tahapan selanjutnya sehingga sistem layak digunakan. Sistem informasi klinik berbasis website yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Django web framework. Hasil pengabdian menghasilkan sistem informasi manajemen klinik berbasis website yang terdiri dari pendaftaran pasien, data rekam medis pasien, data stok obat, laporan kemajuan jumlah pasien dan pendapatan klinik secara periodik. Penerapan sistem informasi dapat mempermudah aktivitas utama klinik dan memberikan laporan perkembangan klinik dengan lebih tertib dan realtime.
The multiple routes travelling salesman problem (mrTSP) is an extension of the well-known travelling salesman problem (TSP), where there are several points clusters to be visited by salesman. The problem to be solved is how to define the best route in every cluster and initial position of each routes as interconnection points for the salesman. In this paper, modified genetic algorithm (mGA) is proposed in order to solve the mrTSP problem. In the proposed mGA, new heuristic algorithm for crossover and mutation operator based on local shortest path algorithm is proposed in order to assist the mGA to improve 'best solution so far'. Numerical examples are also given to test the performance of proposed mGA when solving mrTSP. The result of the study shows that the mGA is superior compared to conventional GA.

Here, we employ a failure mode and effect analysis to identify the failure and its effect. We obtain 22 operational risks with two critical risks. The two critical risks are then used as top event in analysing the cause of the failure.
