This research aim to test the influence of pastoral visiting ministry to the spiritual growth of the church. Research executed in Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia of Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara District, Kalimantan East. The results showed that there was an influence of pastoral visiting ministry on the spiritual growth of the congregation as indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.340 which was significant at α = 0.05. Pastoral visiting ministry will bring the pastor closer to the congregation that he serves, making the pastoral ministry effective, thereby impacting the spiritual growth of the congregation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pelayanan kunjungan pastoral terhadap pertumbuhan rohani jemaat.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia Tenggarong, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh pelayanan kunjungan pastoral terhadap pertumbuhan rohani jemaat yang ditunjukkan melalui koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,340 yang signifikan pada α = 0,05. Pelayanan kunjungan pastoral akan mendekatkan gembala dengan jemaat yang dilayaninya, membuat pelayanan penggembalaan menjadi efektif, sehingga berdampak pada pertumbuhan rohani jemaat.
This study aimed to test and prove through data collection that the formation of the character of Christ in adolescents is influenced by the implementation of Christian religious education in the family and parenting patterns. The research method used in this research was the survey method - correlational. Based on the data analysis, the results showed that: 1) Christian religious education in the family had a significant effect on the formation of the character of Christ in adolescents; 2) Parenting patterns have a significant effect on the formation of Christ's character in adolescents; 3) Christian religious education in the family and parenting patterns together have a significant effect on the formation of the character of Christ. Thus, efforts to form the character of Christ in adolescents can be done by increasing the intensity of the implementation of Christian religious education in the family and increasing the right parenting pattern.
Sunday school teachers have an important role in the children's spiritual formation.Through the right ministry strategy, children could be guided to grow in their spiritual life. This study aimed to examine the effective Sunday school teacher service strategies in increasing the children's spiritual growth. The method used in this research was correlational. The research was conducted at the Indonesian Gospel Kemah Church, Kombeng District and Telen District, East Kutai District. The results showed that the Sunday school teacher service strategy had a significant effect on children's spiritual growth. Through child-centered learning and teaching creatively the Word of God have an impact on children's spiritual growth and improvement.
Online learning is a solution that considered appropriate in COVID-19 pandemic situation, yet it doesn’t guarantee the student success in learning. Physical distancing practice in face-to-face interactions is a hindrance for student and teacher in learning activities. This research was aimed to measure online learning effectivity in Christian Religious Education subject in COVID-19 pandemic period. The study used quantitative approach with classroom action method. The result shows that through online learning and improvement in every cycle by the teacher in learning design impact on student improvement of Christian Religious Education better. Online learning needs to be applied in interesting and innovative way. Delivering the material with pictures and videos to the student is able to increase student’s participation actively by questions and answers which have an impact to better Christian Religious Education learning result.Abstrak: Pembelajaran daring menjadi salah satu solusi yang dianggap tepat di masa pandemi Covid-19, meskipun tidak menjadi jaminan keberhasilan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penerapan physical distanding dalam interaksi secara tatap muka (face-to-face) menjadi hambatan bagi siswa dan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur efektivitas pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di masa pandemik Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui pembelajaran daring dan setiap siklus dilakukan perbaikan oleh guru dalam mendisain pembelajar berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa menjadi lebih baik. Penerapan pembelajaran daring perlu dilaksanakan secara menarik dan inovatif. Melalui pemberian materi yang disertai dengan gambar dan video kepada siswa mampu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa secara aktif melalui pertanyaan dan jawaban dari siswa yang berdampak pada pencapaian hasil belajar PAK menjadi lebih baik.
The disruptive era is demanding strategic leadership which able to answer the needs of the church grows in the future. Leadership in Pentecostal churches that tend to prepare their family in succession has no guarantee of the needs and success of the next leader in the disruptive era. This research is proposed to examine the most dominant influence factor of leadership succession of Pentecostal churches. This research is using a quantitative approach with a survey method. The result showing that to have a succession planning in prepare new leaders for the church is the most dominant influence factor of leadership succession of Pentecostal churches in a disruptive era. To prepare a new leader through the right and contextual leadership succession is the key to future leadership success. Abstrak Di era disruptif menuntut kepemimpinan yang strategis dan mampu menjawab kebutuhan untuk perkembangan gereja di masa yang akan datang. Kepemimpinan pada gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta yang cenderung mempersiapkan anggota keluarga dalam regenerasi tidak memberikan jaminan sepenuhnya dapat menjawab kebutuhan dan bagi kesuksesan kepemimpinan selanjutnya pada era disruptif. Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi suksesi kepemimpinan gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa memiliki perencanaan dalam menyiapkan pemimpin baru bagi gereja menjadi faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi suksesi kepemimpinan di era disruptif gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta. Mempersiapkan pemimpin baru melalui perencanaan yang baik dan yang tepat serta kontekstual menjadi kunci sukses kepemimpinan pada masa yang akan datang.
