Objective: Discussing the factors associated with major depression and suicide risk among nursing professionals. Method: An integrative review in PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO and BDENF databases, between 2003 and2015. Results: 20 published articles were selected, mostly from between 2012 and 2014, with significant production in Brazil. Nursing professionals are vulnerable to depression when young, married, performing night work and having several jobs, and when they have a high level of education, low family income, work overload, high stress, insufficient autonomy and a sense of professional insecurity and conflict in the family and work relationship. Suicide risk was correlated with the presence of symptoms of depression, high levels of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and low personal accomplishment; characteristics of Burnout Syndrome. Conclusion: Suicide risk among nursing professionals is associated with symptoms of depression and correlated with Burnout Syndrome, which can affect work performance.

Studies related to the effect of insecticides on insect pests and nontarget organisms, such as natural enemies, are traditionally accessed by the estimative of lethal effects, through mortality data. Due to the limitations of the traditional methods, recent studies in the past three decades are assessing the sublethal effects of insecticides upon several important biological traits of insect pests and natural enemies. Besides mortality, the sublethal dose/concentrations of an insecticide can affect insect biology, physiology, behavior and demographic parameters. In this chapter, many sublethal effects of insecticides were addressed for several chemical groups, such as botanical insecticides, carbamate, diamide, insect growth regulators, neonicotinoid, organochlorides, organophosphates, pyrethroid and others. An accurate assessment of these effects is crucial to acquire knowledge on the overall insecticide efficacy in the management of pest insect populations, as well as on their selectivity toward nontarget organisms.

Objetivo: Apreender a escuta qualificada e o acolhimento na atenção psicossocial, na perspectiva de usuários. Métodos: Pesquisa qualitativa realizada com oito usuários de um centro de atenção psicossocial, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, observação e registros de campo. Os dados foram organizados e analisados em categorias temáticas. Resultados: Identificou-se o entendimento da escuta qualificada, mudanças produzidas por esta, e frustrações diante da sua ausência, nos usuários. Conclusão: Verificou-se que a escuta qualificada possui potencial terapêutico quando realizada, e contribui para a melhoria da atenção centrada na pessoa com transtorno mental.

This study aims to discuss the strategies used by the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Family Health Programs, at a time when a close link is established between psychiatric and basic care. We depart from our own experience in the field and from a literature review, identifying the interfaces and challenges to be overcome with a view to transforming these social contexts into spaces for affective and material exchanges and for more creative and flexible knowledge and practices.

Este trabalho objetiva compreender o cuidado prestado em saúde aos portadores de transtornos psíquicos na atenção básica em saúde. Foi desenvolvido em um bairro periférico do município de Maceió, de exclusividade do Programa de Saúde da Família. Buscou nesse cenário e nos relatos de experiência dos portadores, seus familiares e profissionais de saúde, o material para essa compreensão. Utilizou uma abordagem qualitativa de estudo de caso referendada por Lüdke & André e Minayo para a análise final. Revelou que o cuidado ao portador psíquico na atenção básica em saúde tem sido medicalizado, hospitalar e fragmentado. Os profissionais de saúde, assim como as famílias têm reproduzido a lógica do internamento psiquiátrico, que é reforçada pela insuficiência e ineficácia do sistema público de atenção em saúde mental local. O Programa de Saúde da Família, neste caso, não tem sido capaz de mudar a lógica da atenção centrada no modelo biomédico e, sua forma de cuidar em saúde não se coaduna com os princípios da Reforma Sanitária e Psiquiátrica. Sua penetração nas redes sociais é tímida e a dinâmica das ações é passiva e individual. Formas de abordagem baseadas na escuta, no acolhimento e no vínculo são raramente utilizadas.

Efeito repelente de azadiractina e óleos essenciais sobre Aphis gossypiiGlover (Hemiptera: Aphididae) em algodoeiro 1 Repellent effect of azadirachtin and essential oils on Aphis gossypii Glover (Hemiptera: Aphididae) in cotton plants ABSTRACT -The repellence of botanical insecticides has emerged as a promising technique in the alternative control of urban and agricultural pests, being seen as one component of integrated pest management. The aim of this work was to identify the repellence of botanical insecticides on apterous females of Aphis gossypii Glover. Random-choice tests were carried out with discs from the leaves of cotton plants immersed in insecticide solution and in a control (distilled water with 2% DMSO). Azadirachtin was used (0.075%) and the essential oils of Piper hispidinervum CDC, P. aduncum L., Cymbopogon winterianus (L.), C. citratus (DC) Stapf, Foeniculum vulgare Mill, Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merrill and Perry, Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume, Schinus terebinthifolius Raddi and Chenopodium ambrosioides L. at a concentration of 0.05%. C. citratus, C. winterianus, P. aduncum, S. terebinthifolius, azadirachtin and C. zeylanicum showed the highest percentage of repellence, 100, 84, 66.67, 64, 60.87 and 48% respectively, and reduced nymph production by 100, 92, 42.9, 87.5, 80.65 and 89, 74%, with significant results from the 2 test at 10% probability. In tests with F. vulgare ( 2 = 3.66, P = 0.05) females of A. gossypii were significantly attracted to the treated discs, and there was an increase in the production of nymphs in the results obtained for F. vulgare ( 2 = 5.87, P = 0.02) and C. ambrosioides ( 2 = 14.31, P = 0.001).
