Basil leaves (Ocimum basilicum L) was one of the plants that thrive in Indonesia. This plant could be used as an antipyretic, antifungal, analgesic, antiseptic, antibacterial, hepatoprotector, immunomodulator, antireppelent and antiexpectorant. The chemical content found in this plant has a role in providing pharmacological activities so that this research was conducted to develop the use of basil leaves as natural medicine. Phytochemical screening aims to provide an overview of the classes of compounds contained in basil leaves which include flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins and tannins. The samples were determined and identified in the Integrated Laboratory of Sunan Ampel UIN Surabaya. The extract was made by extracting basil leaf simplicia with ethanol solvent by maceration method and doing phytochemical tests by adding solvents by observing changes in colour and shape of the solution. Phytochemical test results show that the positive basil leaves contain flavonoid compounds (marked by the appearance of black), alkaloids (characterized by the presence of a brownish yellow colour and precipitate), saponins (marked by the stable foam), and tannins (marked by the green colour black).

The menstrual cycle is the distance between the first day of menstruation and the first period of the next menstruation. One of the faktors that influence the menstrual cycle is stres. Stres can stimulate the release of the hormone cortisol, which is a product of glucocorticoid adrenal cortex. This hormone affects the amount of progesterone in the body. This hormonal imbalance will cause changes in the menstrual cycle. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between stres levels and the menstrual cycle of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya students. This research was an observational analytic study with a sampling design using simple random sampling with a total of 30 respondents. Data collection techniques use the DASS 42 questionnaire to measure stres levels and the menstrual cycle pattern questionnaire to measure the menstrual cycle. Data analysis using Fisher's exacs test and the results obtained p = 0.031, so it means that there is a relationship between the level of stres with the menstrual cycl.
The majority of people in Sendang village, the sub-district of Tulungagung Regency are as dairy farmers. 90% of the people have 5-10 dairy cows. A cow can produce approximately 15 kg of dirt, therefore, five cows can produce 75 kg of dung per day. During this time cow dung has been utilized as a biogas material, but most cow farmers still throw it into the river. Even the people who already have biogas, they also throw the rest of biogas into rivers even though the remaining dirt can be used as manure. Community assistance was based on the ABCD approach. The result is that the community can make a communal biogas installation independently and utilize the rest of the waste into fertilizer.
Introduction: SARS-CoV-2 RNA transmission in wastewater has a risk of fecal transmission ofSARS-CoV-2 to humans and the environment. Despite the increasing number of cases in almostall areas in Indonesia, the study to review and evaluate waste management resulted from medicalfacilities is still limited and less explored. This literature review aims to analyze the applicabilityof WHO guidelines on wastewater management to be implemented in Indonesia. Scientific paperswere collected from several electronic databases such as PubMed, PLoS, Researchgate, WHO,Elsevier, Science, SARS-CoV-2, Covid19, and wastewater. The articles were selected based on theinclusion criteria that use SARS-CoV-2, Covid19, and wastewater as the main variables observed. The articles published before 2013 were excluded from this review. Discussion: Wastewatermonitoring of SARS-CoV-2 within medical and health facilities is implemented to identify thevirus’s presence as the causative agent of Covid19 disease, which contaminated the environmentand society. The results of the analysis in wastewater can be used to determine the infectioncontrol in health facilities while also beneficial in formulating the monitoring of environmentalimpacts caused by the waste. These efforts would support policies or interventions based on publichealth by applying social distances, locking, quarantine areas that aim to break the Covid19transmission. Conclusion: Briefly, by considering the urgency of Covid19 pandemic containmentand control measures of transmission in health facilities, population and environment. It is a wastemanagement guideline that is highly required to be implemented based on public health aspects.
