Bu araştırmada öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre ilkokul yöneticilerinin etik liderlik davranışları, çatışma çözme stratejileri ve etik liderlik yaklaşımlarıyla çatışma çözme stratejileri arasında ilişki olup olmadığı ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel genel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın hedef evreni 2012-2013 Eğitim-Öğretim yılı Batman İl merkezindeki kamuya ait ilkokullardaki görev yapan 1195 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Hedef evrenin tümüne ulaşılmaya çalışılmış, örneklem alınma yoluna gidilmemiştir. Hedef evrenin %86'sına (1030 öğretmen) ulaşılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında etik liderlik ölçeği ve çatışma yönetimi stratejileri ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi, ANOVA, Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon Katsayısı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmenler yöneticilerinin yüksek düzeyde etik liderlik davranışı gösterdiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Yöneticilerin etik liderlik davranışları ile çatışma yönetim stratejilerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri cinsiyet, mesleki kıdeme göre farklılaşmaktadır. Öğretmen görüşlerine göre okul yöneticileri çatışma yönetim stratejilerinden en çok tümleştirmeyi daha sonra sırasıyla; uzlaşma, kaçınma, ödün verme ve hükmetme stratejilerini uygulamaktadırlar. Etik liderlik davranışıyla çatışma yönetimi stratejilerinden; tümleştirme, ödün verme stratejileri arasında anlamlı, pozitif ve orta düzeyde bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Yine etik liderlik davranışıyla kaçınma stratejisi arasında anlamlı, pozitif fakat düşük bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Etik liderlik davranışıyla hükmetme yönetimi arasında anlamlı ama negatif ve düşük bir ilişki bulunmuştur.
