Cadmium sulphide films having energy band gap of 2.4 eV found applications in solar cells and electroluminescent devices. CdS polycrystalline films have been prepared on ultra-clean glass substrate by screen-printing technique and then sintered in air. Optimum conditions for preparing good quality screen-printed films have been found. The optical band gaps ‘Eg’ of the CdS films were determined from the UV transmission spectroscopy and were found to be 2.47eV. The Wurtzite structure of CdS films was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. DC conductivity and activation energy of films was also measured in vacuum by two-probe technique

Abstract-in this work, we are making energy efficient 32-bit ALU by using different classes of LVCMOS IO standard. Here, we are operating our design with operating speed of 4 th generation i7 processor in order to test the compatibility of our design with the latest state of the art technology based processor. When there is no demand of peak performance, then we can save 75.2% Clock power, 75% Logic power, 75.36% Signal power, 81.82% I/O power by operating our device with 1GHz frequency in place of maximum 4GHz. LVCMOS25 having 69.65%, 53.48%, 38.77% more power consumption with respect to LVCMOS12, LVCMOS15, LVCMOS 18 at 2.9GHz respectively. In this we used, VERILOG hardware description language, XILINX ISE simulator, and Virtex-6 FPGA and XPower analyzer.

Silica coated cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4:SiO2) nanocomposites were synthesized by co-precipitation technique using metal nitrates as precursors. The as-prepared sample has been further heat treated at 250°C, 500°C,750°C and 1000°C. Their structure and morphology related properties were desirably investigated by XRD, FTIR, TEM characterization techniques. Further, with the help of vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) the magnetic properties have been successfully analysed. Furthermore, the structure and magnetism related properties of these nanocomposites are also understood with heating effects. With increasing calcinations temperature, crystallite size of CoFe2O4:SiO2 nanocomposites was also found to increase. The room temperature magnetic measurements have shown a strong relation of saturation magnetization, retentivity and coercivity with annealing temperature.
