This study provides information about the diversity of pests and predators on organic and non-organic in soybean plantations. This is expected as part of supporting the increase in soybean production in East Java. The diversity of pests and predators are not only influenced by organic or non-organic farming systems, but also on the types of plants being cultivated. Climate also affects the presence of pests and predators. Soybean plants which are included in subtropical plants, when cultivated in a tropical climate, their growth and development are strongly influenced by the tropical climate, which will have an impact on plant resistance to pest attacks. Predators are affected by the presence of pest attacks on their host plants. Meanwhile, the attraction of predators to come to the host plant can be caused by the emergence of volatile compounds released from the saliva of insect pests and also the interaction between these compounds and those released by plants when attacked by pests.
Kain perca dianggap limbah yang tidak memiliki nilai, padahal limbah ini dapat dimanfaatkan sehingga memiliki nilai ekonomi. Pemanfaatan limbah kain perca ini diharapkan dapat membantu ibu-ibu SKOPER dan ibu-ibu PKK dalam mengembangkan inovasi-inoavsi baru dan kreatifitasnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Metode ini memiliki lima langkah yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) Discovery (Pengkajian), 2) Dream (Impian), 3) Design (Merancang), 4) Define (Menentukan tujuan), 5) Destiny (Lakukan). Hasilnya pembuatan produk dotapouch ini memiliki beberapa manfaat dan fungsi, serta memiliki dampak positif dalam hal sosial dan ekonomi.
Indonesia mempunyai jenis buah-buahan yang sangat banyak, salah satunya yaitu buah salak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ciri morfologi maupun kekerabatan antar tanaman salak pondoh, salak madu serta salak gula pasir di desa sumber kecamatan wonosalam kabupaten jombang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan februari-juni 2021 dengan memilih 5 sampel pada setiap jenis tanaman salak dengan parameter penelitian tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, panjang pelepah daun, kerapatan duri, tekstur duri, bentuk duri, warna permukaan atas daun dan warna permukaan bawah daun. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara langsung dan disusun menggunakan metode deskriptif dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis cluster berupa dendogram kemiripan. Berdasarkan pengamatan morfologi vegetatif ciri morfologi antara tiga jenis salak tersebut mempunyai beberapa ciri morfologi yang mirip, Diantara tiga jenis tanaman salak tersebut secara besar dikelompokkan mempunyai hubungan kekerabatan yang jauh dengan menunjukkan nilai kemiripan sebesar 54%-74%.
Suweg is one of the tuber-producing plants in Jombang. Suweg plants in Jombang have not been cultivated regularly, but actually, suweg tubers have great potential to be used as food diversification material in the future. The development of suweg plants, for example assembling varieties has not been done much. The first step in assembling varieties that must be done is germplasm exploration. This study aims to obtain information on the suweg plant in Jombang, to find out the differences in plant characteristics and the kinship relationship of the suweg plant in the same sub-district or in different sub-districts. The research was carried out in Jombang district, covering the Districts of Wonosalam, Kesamben, Ngusikan, Together, Kudu and Plandaan. The location selection is determined based on the results of the preliminary survey. The research was conducted from April to June 2020. The data analysis used a descriptive method, namely simplifying and organizing the data to obtain an overall picture of the object being observed. In addition to the use of descriptive analysis, kinship analysis was carried out using cluster data analysis. In the kinship analysis, the similarity matrix was calculated manually, while the dendrogram was made using NTSys software. The results obtained 9 plant samples from 6 locations. Two samples from Wonosalam location 1 and Wonosalam location 2 , One sample from Kesamben location 1 , One sample from Ngusikan location 1 , Three samples from joint location 1 , Together with location 2 , Together with location 3 , One sample from Kudu location 1 and one sample from Location plan 1 . Kinship analysis showed various relationships with a similarity matrix value of 0.52 – 1.00, this indicates that the diversity of suweg plants in Jombang is very high.
Limbah adalah buangan yang dihasilkan dari suatu proses produksi baik industri maupun domestik. Desa Tampingmojo Tambelang Jombang memiliki area persawahan yang ditanami jagung. Dengan banyaknya persawahan yang menanam pohon jagung, bisa dipastikan bahwa limbah pertanian berupa bonggol jagung yang dihasilkan juga akan banyak. Briket merupakan padatan berpori yang mengandung karbon yang dihasilkan dari bahan-bahan yang mengandung karbon dengan pemanasan pada suhu tinggi. Tujuan dibuatnya briket dari bonggol jagung adalah untuk mengurangi limbah pertanian berupa bonggol jagung sehingga limbah bonggol jagung yang terbuang dapat terkurangi dengan dibuatnya briket bonggol jagung.
