Dismenore merupakan rasa sakit yang tidak nyaman diperut bagian bawah sebelum dan selama haid, sehingga harus mencari pengobatan. bentuk intervensi yang diberikan berupa pengobatan non-farmakologi. Salah satunya menggunakan minuman serai. Serai mengandung antioksidan yang terdapat dalam senyawa sitronelal dan geraniol. Efek dari antioksidan dalam biosintesis prostaglandin, dimana prostaglandin berperan dalam menimbulkan sensasi rasa nyeri, maka antioksidan mempunyai peranan dalam mengurangi rasa nyeri haid. Tujuan penelitian untuk membuktikan pengaruh pemberian minuman serai (cymbopogon citrus) terhadap intensitas nyeri dismenore. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental dengan rancangan pretest-posttest with control. sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi DIV bidan pendidik semester genap (VI) STIKES Karya Husada Semarang. Subyek dipilih dari seluruh populasi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan lembar observasi. Intensitas nyeri dismenore diukur menggunakan numeric ratting scale dan visual analog scale. Data dianalisis dengan uji T dengan signifikasi p<0,005. Sebagian besar ayah balita usia 24-36 bulan di Desa Purworejo melakukan stimulasi perkembangan gerak kasar dengan baik (63,9%), melakukan stimulasi perkembangan gerak halus baik (58,3%), melakukan stimulasi perkembangan bicara dan bahasa baik (61,1%), serta melakukan stimulasi perkembangan sosial dan kemandirian baik (55,6%). Intensitas nyeri dismenore sebelum diberikan minuman serai rata-rata nyeri 6.62 dan sesudah diberikan rata-rata nyeri menjadi 2.50. Hasil uji t-test menunjukan nilai p-value = 0.009. Agar dapat memanfaatkan minuman serai untuk mengatasi nyeri dismenore secara non-farmakologi. Kata Kunci : dismenore; intensitas nyeri; minuman serai
