Introducción: La responsabilidad ética, obliga a buscar la excelencia en el profesional de la salud, para prevenir la negligencia o delito, manteniendo las competencias profesionales actualizadas, que le permitan evaluar qué es bueno o malo, que puede o no puede hacer, para brindar una atención de calidad, segura basada en la evidencia científica y ética1. Objetivo: Determinar la actitud hacia la responsabilidad ética de estudiantes del posgrado de la facultad de medicina, UNMSM. Materiales y métodos: Diseño no experimental, Método descriptivo transversal comparativo de enfoque cuantitativo. Instrumento: Cuestionario tipo Escala Likert validado en contenido por juicio de expertos y confiabilidad en una prueba piloto con coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach (0,941). Muestra conformada por 316 estudiantes de posgrado (segunda especialidad, maestrías, doctorados). Análisis de los datos: Se realizó aplicando el análisis de la estadística descriptiva no inferencial, para cada una de las dimensiones. Resultados: El promedio general de la actitud negativa hacia la responsabilidad ética fue de 25,50%, correspondiéndole el mayor puntaje negativo a la dimensión ejercicio profesional (41,50%) y toma de decisiones (36,10%). La actitud indiferente fue mayor en las mujeres que en los hombres en las dimensiones atención médica, toma de decisiones, compromiso moral y ejercicio profesional. Conclusión, en la muestra estudiada, la actitud hacia la responsabilidad ética fue positiva en el 74,42%, e indiferente en el 25,5%, es decir existe el compromiso ético del profesional para cumplir con todo lo que le corresponde en su ejercicio profesional.
Objetivo: Describir las representaciones sociales en la enseñanza de la investigación científica en docentes de la Escuela de Enfermería de la UNMSM en el 2012. Materiales y métodos: Cualitativo: descriptivo interpretativo utilizando la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales. Resultados: Emergieron cinco categorías, de las que se analizaron las siguientes: 1) reconociendo la importancia de la actividad de investigación del docente, 2) enseñando en base a la experiencia en investigación y 3) considerando la complejidad de la enseñanza de la investigación. Conclusiones: El proceso de enseñanza de la investigación es una actividad que genera estatus académico, un posicionamiento selectivo y perfeccionamiento, expresión de la propia experiencia; es una oportunidad de interacción pedagógica y social. Reconocen en los estudiantes sentimientos de frustración y actitudes desfavorables que generan en los docentes posturas ambivalentes: mayor exigencia académica o mayor exibilidad. Se requiere de espacios para llegar a consensos teóricos y metodológicos; sin embargo, se perciben actitudes favorables hacia la enseñanza de la investigación.
