O aleitamento materno exclusivo é o melhor alimento para o recém-nascido no período neonatal; e, quando estendido para 6 meses, está associado a estado nutricional adequado, redução de infecções e menor mortalidade. Apesar da superioridade nutricional e imunológica do leite materno, há altas taxas de desmame precoce devido a diversos fatores como dificuldades relacionadas à amamentação e falta de conhecimento da mãe sobre os benefícios do leite materno, entre outros. Nesse contexto, este estudo objetivou avaliar as evidências científicas acerca dos fatores associados ao desmame precoce. Tratou-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura de artigos publicados no período de 2016 a 2021 disponíveis nas bases de dados BVS, PubMed e SciELO. Foram incluídos 12 estudos, dos quais, 25% foram realizados no Brasil. A prevalência de desmame precoce variou de 7% a 85,7%, com menores prevalências observadas no Brasil. Os principais fatores associados ao desmame precoce foram idade e baixo nível educacional da mãe, parto cesáreo, uso da chupeta, retorno ao trabalho e percepção materna de baixa quantidade de leite, evidenciando que tanto os fatores sociodemográficos e obstétricos quanto os fatores inerentes aos conhecimentos da mãe influenciam diretamente na duração do aleitamento materno exclusivo. No entanto, é necessário investigar variáveis comportamentais e doenças psiquiátricas graves para compreender os reais determinantes do desmame precoce, possibilitando aos profissionais de saúde desenvolverem ações focando principalmente na educação em saúde.
Objetivo: Analisar o nível de ansiedade e estresse laboral em trabalhadores das Unidades Básica de Saúde de Caxias-MA. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo analítico, de corte transversal e abordagem quantitativa. Setenta e um (71) trabalhadores responderam o questionário sociodemográfico e ocupacional, a escala de ansiedade, Inventário de Ansiedade Traço-Estado (IDATE) e estresse, Escala de Estresse no Trabalho (EET). Os dados provenientes dos instrumentos metodológicos foram tabulados através do programa Office Excel versão 2013, sendo criado um banco de dados, e posteriormente, analisados eletronicamente pelo programa SPSS 22.0 para o Windows. Resultados e discussão: Evidenciou-se a predominância do nível médio de ansiedade e de fatores estressantes, sendo os vigilantes os mais ansiosos e estressados. Trabalhadores com mais de uma ocupação apresentam maiores níveis de ansiedade. Sobre o Distúrbio neuromusculoesquelético (DNME), verifica-se a predominância entre os vigias, porém em todas as profissões presenciou-se a existência deste distúrbio, exceto recepcionista. Os resultados apontam que dos 21 trabalhadores com outra ocupação, 11 possuem DNME. Conclusão: Torna-se necessário desenvolver um olhar mais cuidadoso para a saúde física e mental dos trabalhadores como o fortalecimento do apoio social no trabalho, a importância da ergonomia, dos momentos de interação em equipe, escuta qualificada, além de atividades que possam enriquecer e reorganizar o processo e o fluxo de trabalho, junto com o assessoramento da gestão e dos órgãos da vigilância. Mediante limitações da pesquisa é de grande importância o surgimento de outros estudos sobre o cuidado com a saúde do trabalhador.
O estudo teve como objetivo relatar a experiência de um grupo operativo com diabéticos obesos de uma estratégia de saúde da família. Trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo relato de experiência, realizada com pacientes diabéticos obesos de uma Unidade Básica de Saúde da cidade de Caxias, Maranhão, Brasil, no período de maio a agosto de 2019. Participaram 10 usuários portadores do DM tipo 2, do sexo feminino, da faixa etária entre 37 a 76 anos e diagnosticados com obesidade grau I, II e III. Foram realizados cinco encontros com uma hora de duração, com temas relacionados à saúde e a qualidade de vida. As temáticas abordadas nos grupos operativos foram: Conhecendo a condição crônica; Abordagem sobre o que é estilo de vida; Integralidade e multidimensionalidade da saúde; Autocuidado e autonomia e Plano de vida. Os grupos operativos possibilitaram a participação ativa de todos. Assim, estes grupos foram direcionados aos diabéticos obesos que buscavam mudanças de comportamento. A interação grupal promoveu um ambiente oportuno, livre de preconceitos e estigmas, que motivou os diabéticos a mudar o estilo de vida, sobretudo, no que diz respeito, ao controle do peso corporal.
Abstract— o objetivo do trabalho é analisar a capacidade funcional dos idosos para realização das atividades básicas e instrumentais da vida diária, correlacionando a presença de sintomas depressivos e a incapacidade funcional do idoso na atenção primária à saúde no município de Caxias-MA. O estudo é transversal com abordagem quantitativa, realizado com 188 idosos das proximidades de uma UBS. Os resultados evidenciaram que os idosos possuem maiores dependências para as AIVDs do que para as ABVDs, as variáveis associadas às ABVDs foram: idade , estado civil , deficiente e fator domiciliado . Já as variáveis associadas às AIVDs foram: idade , renda , escolaridade , filhos , estado civil , deficiente e domiciliado . Perante o exposto, compreende-se que não houve associação dos sintomas depressivos com o prejuízo funcional dos idosos. Diante disso, realizar a avaliação da CF em idosos funciona como um indicador do processo saúde-doença, essencial para o planejamento das intervenções e monitoramento do estado clínico-funcional dessa população, preservando-os por maior tempo na comunidade.
