<p><span>Neste artigo investiga-se e se discute as cotas raciais nos processos de seleção e ingresso nas Universidades públicas federais. Esta política tem menos de 10 anos de implementação no Brasil e, apesar de bons resultados obtidos, segue sendo tema de controvérsias. Quer-se discutir esta política a partir do conceito de reconhecimento em Habermas e Honneth. O reconhecimento parte de uma noção distinta da idealização identitária, sendo ele uma construção intersubjetiva. A discussão que denominamos culturalista das cotas raciais parte da noção de identidade como substância e distinção. Quer-se fazer uma crítica dessa perspectiva teórica e prática. Em seguida será apresentado uma questão inusitada na política de cotas raciais nas universidades: a autoreferência da identidade racial nos processos abriu as portas para fraudes, e muitas delas foram identificadas e punidas. Este fato demanda a discussão de quem são os indivíduos que cabem nas cotas raciais. A autoreferência torna-se insuficiente para definir raça e, o reconhecimento pelo outro é ele mesmo uma validação numa dinâmica intersubjetiva.</span></p>
Neste artigo discute-se o ensino remoto nas escolas públicas brasileiras durante a pandemia da Covid-19 entre o início de 2020 e o início de 2022. A suspensão das aulas presenciais foi uma medida sanitária necessária para controlar e reduzir a difusão dos coronavírus. O eixo da discussão é investigar a relação entre educação e tecnologia na socialização de crianças e adolescentes. O artigo inicia com uma abordagem crítica da função socializadora das escolas. Destaca-se as referências ao trabalho de Nadja Hermann e George Mead. A seguir faz-se uma discussão do lugar das tecnologias na educação, particularmente as tecnologias digitais. Nesta parte do artigo faz-se referência a Paulo Freire. Por fim, discute-se as consequências da pandemia da Covid-19 no ensino de crianças e adolescentes. Entre elas destaca-se déficits de aprendizagem, problemas na socialização e evasão escolar. Cabe destacar que as desigualdades sociais resultam em distinções nas consequências da pandemia. Conclui-se que abordar e enfrentar consequências da pandemia na socialização de crianças e adolescentes deve fazer parte da agenda das políticas públicas.
Este artigo se apoia na releitura crítica da ética política de Adela Cortina, tendo como ponto de partida a sua reinterpretação da moral de transmutações. Seguido-ra da ética da discussão, a filósofa espanhola sintoniza com K.O. Apel, assumindo os pressupostos de uma fundamentação discursiva da moral. Na verdade, ela diz que a paternidade da ética da discussão cabe a Apel, quando, "no último capítulo de Transformation der Philosophie" ele esboça as grandes linhas de sua funda-mentação "para, em seguida, não fazer mais do que aprofundá-las e completá-las" (CORTINA, 2002, p. 155).Na tradição kantiana, o domínio da razão prática envolve conteúdos de dife-rentes tipos de legislação, principalmente a forma moral e a questão jurídica. "Não se trata de dizer simplesmente que elas encerram conteúdos diversos, mas que a moral e o direito são dois tipos formalmente distintos de legislação" (CORTINA, 2002, p. 174). Mais do que salientar divergências, o aspecto convergente indica a superação da filosofia da consciência para, então, insistir na "relação da vontade e da razão" com o aspecto ilocucionário da linguagem orientados para a compreen-são intersubjetiva das pretensões de validade.Face às novas exigências, a ética da discussão empreende uma reconstrução do ponto de vista moral.
