O artigo pretende fazer uma abordagem dos desafios do controle social na atualidade, analisando a sua formulação no processo de redemocratização da sociedade brasileira, bem como os seus impasses a partir dos anos 1990. Finaliza com os debates na atual conjuntura e apresenta como novidade a criação dos fóruns estaduais, municipais e da Frente Nacional contra a Privatização da Saúde, considerados também como mecanismos autônomos de controle democrático do controle social institucionalizado.
Resumo: O presente artigo objetiva discutir as principais tendências do trabalho profissional de assistentes sociais na política de saúde no enfrentamento da pandemia da covid-19. Para isso, fazemos uma breve discussão dos principais elementos da política de saúde no governo Bolsonaro e, posteriormente, analisamos as inflexões para o Serviço Social na dimensão do trabalho e no lugar da profissão, suas demandas, estratégias e contribuições na linha de frente à pandemia.
Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir sobre o protagonismo do setor privado na Política de Saúde Brasileira e sua relação com desmonte do Sistema Único de Saúde no Governo Temer. O desenvolvimento deste estudo se deu por meio de uma ampla pesquisa bibliográfica, abrangendo as referências teóricas fundamentais para compreender o objeto de pesquisa em questão; e também utilizando os recursos da pesquisa documental aos documentos que contém as principais orientações das políticas estatais do Governo Temer: “Uma Ponte para o Futuro”; “A Travessia Social”; e a Emenda Constitucional 95. Além dos documentos que expressaram as mudanças na Política Nacional de Atenção Básica e na Política de Saúde Mental, como também os que propõe a criação de planos acessíveis. Os resultados deste artigo contribuem para dar visibilidade ao desmonte do SUS e a histórica priorização do setor privado na Política de Saúde Brasileira, como parte de um projeto amplo de mercantilização da vida.
