Based on our researches, professional experience and activisms, we dialogue with authors and transfeminist activists who offer directions for reaching critical productions in Psychology once they introduce the concept of cisgenerity. Considering this, we discuss handbooks of Psychology excerpts that, following developmental theories, put in the background issues related to gender and sexuality, affirming determinist and dichotomic perspectives. In this paper, we raise questions for scientific Psychology considering two of its fundamental perspectives: the concept of gender socialization, which implies nature x culture dichotomy and the learning of sexual roles; and the criminalization of trans people experiences due to some psychological theories and practices. We suggest tha transfeminist perspectives, as a border literature, allow us to reconfigure our references, episthemological matrix, and profetional practices, not only related to the right of self-determination of gender identities, but also to the multiple analytical dimensions of intersectional cathegories.
