Os critérios analíticos da Linguística Textual são motivados por uma tentativa de explicação para as escolhas textuais por meio das quais o sujeito age sobre o seu dizer, reelaborando-o a todo instante, negociando-o com os prováveis interlocutores (em seus papéis sociais), para buscar atender a seus propósitos (CAVALCANTE et alii, 2020). É justamente a suposição dessa agentividade, dessa actorialização, que faz a LT eleger como critérios de análise os diversos recursos de que pode se valer o locutor para tentar persuadir a quem ele projeta como interlocutor e, muitas vezes, como terceiro. Analisamos as marcas da negociação dos conflitos entre pontos de vista antagônicos que acontecem nas modalidades argumentativas polêmicas, admitindo amplamente que, nas interações humanas, os interlocutores mobilizam recursos tecnolinguageiros, em ambientes digitais, nas diversas tentativas de reafirmar seu ponto de ponto de vista no dissenso e de influenciar o terceiro. Enfatizamos, neste trabalho, dois traços da modalidade argumentativa da polêmica que merecem ser aprofundados ainda. O primeiro é o fato de a noção de polêmica de Amossy (2017) se descrever não como uma oposição discursiva pela qual todo discurso se identifica, mas como um dos tipos de modalidade argumentativa, o que exige que a polêmica aconteça numa interação concreta, em que os participantes encenam o papel social de Proponente, de Oponente e de Terceiro. O segundo é o fato de a intertextualidade não ser um recurso opcional nessa modalidade, mas uma condição para que o embate se efetive no espaço público.
A internet intensificou discursos que se entrecruzam antagonicamente. Desse modo, esta pesquisa se propõe a analisar a intertextualidade em hashtags utilizadas em textos da rede social Twitter, a fim de que se possa apreender a desqualificação do adversário na polêmica pública. A fundamentação teórica recorre aos estudos sobre a polêmica pública (AMOSSY, 2017), à classificação do argumento ad hominem (FIORIN, 2015), ao tecnodiscurso (PAVEAU, 2020) e à intertextualidade no que diz respeito à alusão ampla (CARVALHO, 2018). Para a análise, foram selecionados dois tuítes produzidos em dois contextos polêmicos distintos que envolvem a conduta do presidente Jair Bolsonaro com questões de interesse para a sociedade brasileira. A análise permitiu constatar que a intertextualidade intensifica o ataque direcionado à pessoa ou ao grupo que assume o lado oposto na polêmica pública, ao fazer uso da hashtag em textos virulentos na rede social Twitter.
Este trabalho trata sobre a dinâmica argumentativa na complexidade dos textos. De modo geral, busca refletir sobre o caráter argumentativo dos textos com vistas a postularmos, a partir de Cavalcante (2016), uma classificação entre os textos de dimensão argumentativa e os textos de visada argumentativa. Para tanto, estabelecemos uma interface entre a teoria da argumentação no discurso (AMOSSY, 2018) e a Linguística Textual, discutindo acerca de como certos parâmetros da análise textual podem contribuir em potencial para a compreensão do funcionamento do discurso em várias modalidades argumentativas, sobretudo a polêmica.
