Este artigo analisa as influências recíprocas da estrutura organizacional nos líderes e nos liderados e destes enquanto agentes na estrutura organizacional, levando em consideração os construtos das Teorias da Estruturação de Giddens e da Liderança Relacional. O referencial teórico destaca os construtos da teoria da estruturação (ações não/premeditadas; recursividade entre ação humana e estrutura social; dualidade da estrutura; rotinas e regras) e da liderança relacional (que mais se aproxima da teoria da estruturação). Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa que realizou entrevistas semiestruturadas com todos os 32 empregados de empresa do setor de infraestrutura. Os resultados indicam que a organização mudou devido à influência recíproca entre agente (líder-liderado) – estrutura (organização), como em Giddens e também de acordo com os pressupostos da liderança relacional, resultante das capacidades de: provocar mudanças; utilizar regras e recursos disponíveis; enfrentar consequências não premeditadas. Este artigo contribui com lacuna na literatura de liderança ao recorrer à teoria da estruturação.
Objetivo: O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a percepção de executivos argentinos que trabalham no Brasil e de executivos brasileiros que trabalham na Argentina sobre os direitos trabalhistas previstos nos sistemas de relações de trabalho (SRTs) dos países latino-americanos. Metodologia: Foi desenvolvido estudo de caso qualitativo envolvendo entrevistas com vinte executivos que participam dos SRTs Brasileiro e Argentino. Resultados: Os resultados apontam que os SRTs do Brasil e Argentina se assemelham em diversos aspectos relacionados à dimensão legal dos sistemas, embora também apresentem particularidades. Ambos têm altíssimas taxas de informalidade, isto é, trabalhadores que não estão sujeitos a nenhuma regulação. Além disso, Argentina e Brasil são países que têm caminhado rumo à flexibilização das relações de trabalho e, nesse sentido, o Brasil está mais adiantado. Contribuições acadêmicas: Embora o tema “relações de trabalho” seja amplamente debatido em estudos nacionais e internacionais, poucas pesquisas compararam SRTs entre países, especialmente, na América Latina. E, geralmente, tais estudos investigam o fenômeno sob a ótica do Estado e do Trabalhador, sendo raras as pesquisas que incluem a perspectiva do terceiro ator: o Empregador. Contribuições práticas: Este estudo fornece uma visão comparativa sobre a dimensão legal dos SRTs de Argentina e Brasil, perspectiva relevante para os diversos atores impactados pelos sistemas de trabalho, sejam empregadores, empregados, sindicatos e o Estado.
