Education is an effort to foster student character. Purpose Want to know the character education management strategy in increasing the spiritual intelligence of students. The research method used qualitative instruments, namely (1). Focus (2). Observation and interviews (4) Data analysis collection. Conclusion: (1). Environmental observations at three schools have conducted a SWOT analysis (2). Formulation of a strategy regarding the vision and mission, based on the values of faith (3). Strategy implementation with intra and ecurricular based programs (4). Strategy evaluation serves to monitor learning (5). The learning strategy management process is very conducive. Implication (1). Strategic application has implications for the awareness of all school residents (2). The process of positive habituation has implications for school culture (3). The implementation of full day school has implications for the creation of a school with character (4). Enforcement of discipline has implications for the commitment to school management.
Character education in schools is a severe problem, so it is necessary to find its root and solution. Various policies and formulations of character education have been made by the government and implemented in each school, but so far have not shown the expected results. Different deviations in student behavior at each level of education are still found, such as brawls between students, promiscuity and immorality, drug abuse, and other irresponsible behavior. This study aims to reveal data related to the visionary leadership of the principal as a driver of the character education system at SMA PLUS PGRI Cibinong, Bogor Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection tools using interview, observation, and documentation studies.Meanwhile, the triangulation technique was used to test the validity of the data. The results showed that the principal, with his visionary leadership, had been able to mobilize all components of the character education system at SMA PLUS PGRI Cibinong, Bogor Regency, to create a conducive school environment for the implementation of student character education. The success of this school has been recognized nationally so that it becomes a reference school or a comparative study destination for schools in Indonesia in the implementation of character education.
This study aims to obtain data and information about the ethical leadership of teachers in character education in Tangerang City Middle School. Specifically to obtain data and information on four aspects of the ethical leadership of teachers in character education, with reference to transformational leadership, namely; 1) Idealized influence (Charismatic influence), 2) Inspirational motivation, 3) Intellectual stimulation, and 4) Individualized consideration (individual attention). This study uses a survey method with a quantitative descriptive variable approach. The population of this study were students from three State Junior High Schools in the city of Tangerang, which numbered 942 students, then the sample was taken by proportional random sampling obtained by the number of 90 students. The technique for data collection was used a questionnaire. Research data as follows; 1) The influence of teacher ideality for students, is at 60.30% including the moderate/sufficient category; 2) teacher's inspirational motivation for students, at 61.21% including the moderate / sufficient category; 3) teacher intellectual stimulation for students, at 59.22% included in the moderate / sufficient category; 4) teacher's individual attention for students, is at 59.87% including the category of moderate / sufficient. Then the accumulation of each of the aspects or indicators above obtained data that shows, that the ethical leadership of teachers in character education of students in Tangerang City Middle School is at 60%, including the category of moderate or sufficient.
Aparat Sipil Negara (ASN) dituntut untuk mewujudkan tata pemerintahan yang baik (good governance) atau bermutu, khususnya dalam pelayanan publik. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut salah satu unsur penting yang harus dimiliki setiap pegawai adalah kemampuan komunikasi etis. Hal ini, karena nilai baik buruknya pelayanan publik sering kali diukur dari cara komunikasi petugas dalam memberi pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. Atas dasar itu, maka komunikasi etis pegawai menjadi faktor determinan dalam mewujudkan kualitas pelayanan publik menuju good governance. Implikasi dari tulisan ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi dan memotivasi ASN untuk meningkatkan kualitas komunikasinya sehingga dapat mewujudkan pelayanan prima terhadap masyarakat.
The purpose of this research is to formulate strategic decisions and steps for the UNIS Postgraduate Program based on accurate information to gain a competitive advantage in the next few years. This research method is to analyze external and internal environmental factors in the UNIS Postgraduate Program so that the strategy formulation is obtained as a strategic profile as a basis for formulating the necessary strategic and policy steps. The results of this study found that the external environment creates many opportunities and the internal environment is getting stronger, therefore an aggressive profile is formed with strategies and policies, including: (1). Improve the work culture of the lecturers’ Tri Dharma (2). Maintaining the image of the campus through student development (3). Fostering good relations with local governments (4). Improving the qualifications of functional lecturers’ positions (5) increasing student recruitment cooperation (6). Increase the carrying capacity of organizational devices.
Abstract-Life in its various aspects never walked anywhere, but continues to change either by means of a revolutionary or evolutionary. Well it was done intentionally planned or occurred naturally. Nevertheless, the impact of a change is not always positive, none of them have highly negative impact on quality of life. To get the positive benefits of a change, the necessary adaptability wisely and intelligently based on the core moral values, knowledge and skills are growing. Related to this, the process of lifelong learning is the only way to acquire the ability to adapt in the face of socio-cultural changes that continue throughout life. This means there needs to be an effort to develop a culture of lifelong learning in the community. The method of writing scientific work is done through the study of literature, the results of which can describe the urgency of a lifelong learning process in the face of socio-cultural changes. The implication of this paper is expected to encourage people to become more adaptive to socio-cultural changes through lifelong learning so as to improve the quality of life.
This study aims to obtain data and information that can describe the teacher's reflective thinking in overcoming student problems related to character education in schools. This is considered important because there are indications that there are still many teachers who act spontaneously without going through a reflective thinking process in overcoming student problems, even tending to verbal and physical violence. This action is very contrary to the role of the teacher as an educator who should be a model to be imitated by students in schools, especially related to character education. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach to one variable with a survey technique using a questionnaire in the form of an attitude scale. It is hoped that by obtaining data related to teacher reflective thinking in overcoming student problems, it can be a basis for recommending teacher reflective thinking development programs, so that character education in schools can be improved
The results to be obtained in the research are the relationship between public perception and community participation in overcoming Covid 19, the relationship between responsibility and community participation in overcoming Covid 19, as well as the relationship between perception and responsibility together with community participation in overcoming Covid 19. This research is correlational quantitative, involving 100 community members in the RW. 08 Cipondoh Village, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City, which was selected by means of Proportionate Random Sampling. Data were obtained through a calibrated questionnaire. From the research, data obtained: (1) that public perception has a positive and significant relationship with community participation in handling Covid 19, with a value of ry.1 = 0.731 >rtable (rtable = 0.195 at = 0.05 and rtable = 0.256 at = 0.01). (2) that responsibility has a positive and significant relationship with community participation in the response to Covid 19, with a value of ry.1 = 0.661 >rtable (rtable = 0.195 at = 0.05 and rtable = 0.256 at = 0.01). (3) that public perception and responsibility together have a positive and significant relationship with community participation in the prevention of Covid 19, with a value of ry.1 = 0.808 >rtable (rtable = 0.195 at = 0.05 and rtable = 0.256 at = 0.01).
