Tendo em vista os baixos índices educacionais das mulheres que se encontram em situação de prisão, o presente trabalho tem como enfoque refletir sobre acesso à educação por moças que vivenciam situação de cárcere. Para a condução deste artigo adotou-se a perspectiva da educação inclusiva. Com a finalidade de traçar um panorama do perfil das encarceradas no estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, utilizou-se os documentos oficiais que constam nos bancos de dados governamentais. Empregou-se o método dedutivo e foram utilizadas as técnicas de investigações como a pesquisa indireta documental e bibliográfica. O corpus que compõem este paper é formado por Leis federais e estaduais, Constituições federal e estadual e o Levantamento Nacional de informações penitenciária- INFOPEN MULHERES, publicado em 2018. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho exploratório dentro do escopo dos Direitos Humanos e da Educação, com ênfase na defasagem escolar das mulheres submetidas ao poder punitivo sul-mato-grossense.
Resumo: O aumento do encarceramento feminino registrado no Mato Grosso do Sul entre 2015 e 2018 foi acompanhado por uma conjunção de fatores, dos quais fazem parte a crise econômica do Brasil (aumento de desemprego, do percentual de pobreza e o corte de investimentos em programas sociais), a presença de uma rede internacional de tráfico drogas com grande atuação na fronteira Brasil-Paraguai e a dificuldade de inserção no mercado formal de trabalho por parte das classes com baixa escolaridade. O presente trabalho tem como enfoque a atuação feminina no âmbito do tráfico internacional de drogas nas fronteiras sul-americanas, mais particularmente na fronteira Brasil-Paraguai. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho exploratório, dentro do escopo das Relações Internacionais.
