In the second moment there is had the analysis of the linguistic foundations and there are established the differences between tools used as the conceptual maps and the networks, as well as in his phase of ending there has been done the follow-up of the constructions of the conceptual networks elaborated by the students.RESUMENEl trabajo muestra los resultados de una estrategia aplicada a los estudiantes de la licenciatura en Química de la universidad Pedagógica Nacional en el primer semestre del 2014, en el cual se han revisado los planteamientos teóricos sobre el origen y la estructura de las redes conceptuales como instrumentos pedagógicos en la enseñanza de las ciencias en general.
