Tanah Yeng Subak Potential Study as an Agrotourism in Sedang Village, Abiansemal, Badung RegencySubak as a world heritage needs to be preserved. The issue of existence reduction of subak cause decreasing of Bali tourism attractiveness that really gives huge impact to Balinese economic-social life. One of the alternatives to prevent agricultural land into nonagricultural land is developing subak becomes agro-tourism object. Tanah Yeng Subak is one of subak that is located in Desa Sedang, Abiansemal, Badung Regency which has a big potency to be developed as an agro-tourism object. The aim of this writing is to identify the tourism potencies of Subak Tanah Yeng which can be developed become a tourism activities object. The result of the research that have been collected shows some tourism potencies of Subak Tanah Yeng, such as: the accessibility to this area is easy to reach, friendly population, regular planting rotation, cultivating diversity commodities, good maintained Subak Temple, 89,2% of the population are in productive ages, local instances that support economic matters of the population, strong and unique customs in terms of farming ceremony and Subak Tanah Yeng also provides beautiful landscape. PendahuluanSubak adalah organisasi masyarakat hukum adat, berupa perkumpulan petani pengelola air irigasi di lahan sawah, dan memiliki karakteristik sosioagraris-religius, (Windia, 2006). Keunikan budaya subak yang memiliki unsur gotong-royong dan konsep Tri Hita Karana menjadikan UNESCO mengakui subak sebagai warisan budaya dunia dalam sidang umum ke-36 di St. Petersburg, Rusia. Disisi lain eksistensi subak mengalami penurunan akibat adanya konversi lahan pertanian ke nonpertanian. Dinas Pertanian Badung menyebutkan, bahwa sejak tahun 2008 hingga tahun 2014, sebanyak 160 ha lahan basah telah beralih fungsi menjadi pembangunan akomodasi wisata dan pemukiman warga. Lokasi dengan alih fungsi lahan terbanyak terjadi di tiga kecamatan, yaitu Kecamatan Kuta Utara mencapai 94 ha, Mengwi 33 ha, dan Abiansemal 4 ha. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk mempertahankan keberadaan subak sebagai warisan budaya adalah melihat potensi subak sebagai objek wisata. Planning of public open space in Dasan Cermen Park, Mataram City to support local cultural activities. Mataram city has experienced development rapidly that causes the need of builded space is increased so that the quality of the environment is getting lower, so it needs the existence of public open space. In addition to having ecological functions, the existence of public open space also has a socio-cultural function as a place of social interaction and describes the local cultural expression. Based on these problems, it is necessary to have a public open space planning in the form of a park that can describe the local cultural expression. The purpose of this research is to plan the park in accordance with the local cultural identity of Mataram city. This research used survey method with observation technique, interview, questionnaire distribution and literature study. Planning refers to systematic planning method. The concept applied is the preservation of local culture. The final result of this research is planning of public open space in Dasan Cermen Mataram City which is divided into three spaces, such as conservation space, social space and cultural space. Further research is needed to design of public open space in Dasan Cermen Mataram City and attention to aspects of public open space management.
This research aims to find the spectrum of a park service scope from two city parks in Denpasar, a densely populated city. The city parks in study are Lapangan Puputan Badung and Lapangan Puputan Margarana as city public facilities of Denpasar – Bali that is said to improve citizen quality of life and environment as well. However, this research focuses to see how city parks in Bali serve their users. This study uses a survey research method. Sample of respondents are chosen using accidental sampling technique with questionnaire as media of data collection. Data series include, users’ age, frequency of visit, activities, and domicile. Research findings are analysed spatially and descriptively as well. Result shows that most visitors are young people who spend time mostly for exercising and other recreational activities. It is also interesting to see that both city park users are regular visitors. They visit the parks at least 1 to 2 time per week and spend 1 to 2 hours in there. The parks users mostly come from densely populated areas. That shows the importance of city parks as complement to a city. However, as a city that going to smart city, ICT has not been recognized much. As conclusion, the spectrum of city parks service scope of Denpasar still ranging in traditional functions of public green open space. A city park serves a man-made nature-like place for people to get refresh within an urban landscape setting.
ABSTRACT Study of The Potential Landscape History for The Development of Historical Tourism in Singaraja City A development of region to improve as a tourism destination will give some positive effects especially for economic sector. Singaraja city is part of northern Bali which has potential of history tourism which need to improve, that is because of the variety of history belong of there, from Buleleng Dinasty till the colonialism era in Republic of Indonesia. The improving of history tourism in Singaraja City hope will give some positive effects especially for civilians who living around. This research has done from Mei 2013 till December 2014 at administration territorial of Singaraja City. As the result of the research, over all the landscape history of Singaraja City has completed all the criteria of history tourism, although there is still need to do some treatments to develop the enchantments of the tourism destination. Islamic Garden Planning at West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Islamic CenterWest Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is one of province in Indonesia with majority of Muslim population. In consequence, it required to provide facility such as Islamic center. NTB Islamic Center was built as a center of Islamic studies and support the halal tourism in NTB. Currently, NTB Islamic Center is under construction and the landscape need to be planned in order to complete the overall construction. The aims of this study were to identify character of the landscape, to analyze any potential and obstruction at the site, and to plan the landscape of NTB Islamic Center with the Islamic garden concept. The method used in this research were literature study and field survey. Literature study was applied to get the formulation of the Islamic garden concept from Al-Qur’an and Hadith and the other literature related to Islamic garden. Furthermore, field survey was applied to determine some obstacles and the potentials of the site to support the NTB Islamic Center planning. The synthesis of study was applied as a concept to develop NTB Islamic Center. The concept of Islamic gardens was selected as a model of beauty of paradise as described in the Al-Qur’an and Hadith. Some adjustment were implemented in the site to conform its character and condition.
