ABSTRACTThe objective of this review is to identify reference practices supported by Information and Communication Technologies, which encourage the implementation of Knowledge Management within organizations. Based on the Systematic Review Methodology, this research project consisted in three phases: the research protocol development; the collection and analysis of information retrieved from the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) of the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI); and finally, the results generation. This study indicates that management practices related with applications and tools, databases, communities of practice, frameworks and networks, promote good outcomes in knowledge management process when applied in real context.
The accelerated pace of a complex society identified by the economic, social and environmental phenomena, the political context and cultural homogeneity, is the result of technological and scientific progress of globalization that has permeated the life quality of people to unsustainable conditions of poverty and inequality, affecting human development, social welfare and dignity. Being a priority that the technological development meets the needs of the population of a country at local and regional levels, industrial University of Santander (UIS) assumes the challenge of initiating the project "Model Management University Research" that allows, from his research work, to achieve the quality, efficiency, effectiveness and pedagogical relevance to the socialappropriation of knowledge in order to concernthe strengthening of capacities of individuals, the understanding of their environment and the contribution of the integral development of society. This study is oriented from systematic methodology five projects in 2005, using data collection instruments: the semistructured interview, the record of experiences and adiscussion group.
This paper is a retrospective over a 20-year period that aims to show the research techniques on pro-environmental behavior and the incidence of Sustainable Development (SD) in Environmental Education (EE). Network bibliometrics was conducted, integrating social media analysis through the implementation of the tools VOSviewer, UCINET and the Biblioshiny application of the R-tool, together with the analysis of content of the documents cited and co-cited in the literature. The findings signal influential authors in citation and co-citation networks; they also point to topics developed emerging in the co-words network. The conclusion shows there is a gap between the acquisition of pro-environmental knowledge and behavior, a fact that shows the need to create pedagogical and participatory alternatives in EE for the resolution of ecological dilemmas. Likewise, with the incorporation of SD in education, it is inferred that higher education is fundamental in guaranteeing sustainability.
Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS) approach, arise as tool for better understanding dynamics and complexity of agricultural innovation. The dynamic approach of organizational capabilities development, is consolidated as a conceptual lens for AIS analysis, but not the systemic approach, which is considered emerging. The objective of this article is present a framework for AIS capability development, taking as a scientific reference, emerging economy countries experiences. A multi-dimensional methodology of literature review and content analysis is implemented, supported in bibliometric and data mining techniques. The networks analysis, the nonlinear perspective of innovation process and research, training, policy and brokering incidence over performance, are some of the main topics in common between AIS and capability development.
This chapter characterizes the publication activity of Information Systems success by data collected from the Science Citation Index and Social Science Citation Index databases from ISI Web of Science during 2001 to 2010. It provides insights into the research activities of Information Systems success research and identifies patterns, tendencies, or regularities existing in the literature related to authors, journals, institutes, and countries. A co-ocurrence analysis of keywords is made to indicate the core themes research areas in the literature and new emerging topics. It is found that the IS success literature has a positive growth rate, and it is likely to continue with this tendency in the future. However, the analysis shows the need to set up a common language framework that serves as a guide to researchers to develop a most mature body of knowledge.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
