Neste estudo qualitativo objetivou-se analisar representações sociais de caminhoneiros de rota curta sobre a AIDS, transmissão do HIV e prevenção da AIDS. Envolveu 19 caminhoneiros de rota curta, de uma associação em Vitória da Conquista-BA. A produção dos dados foi por intermédio de entrevista semiestruturada e por análise de conteúdo temática, sendo identificadas três categorias êmicas. Os resultados mostraram que as representações sociais da AIDS estavam ancoradas nos constructos: "doença ruim", "doença perigosa", "doença incurável" e "doença que mata". A transmissão do HIV relacionou-se ao sexo desprotegido com profissionais do sexo, gays e contato com sangue contaminado; a prevenção da AIDS foi representada pelo uso da camisinha nas relações extraconjugais e pela fidelidade da esposa. Apreendeu-se que as representações sobre AIDS estão embasadas em conhecimentos do início da epidemia e fundamentadas no distanciamento dos indivíduos, configurando quadro importante para a reflexão sobre o processo de vulnerabilização.
A adolescência é marcada por transformações biopsicossociais. A(O) adolescente soropositivo(a), além de lidar com essas transformações, tem de enfrentar limitações do HIV e exercitar práticas sexuais seguras a fim de não se re-infectar/disseminar o vírus. Os objetivos deste estudo foram: conhecer as Representações Sociais (RS) de adolescentes e jovens que vivem com HIV/AIDS sobre “adolescência” e “adolescência e aids” e identificar como estes vivenciam a sexualidade. Pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, fundamentada na Teoria das Representações Sociais, desenvolvida com 18 sujeitos soropositivos de 11 a 20 anos que frequentam um Centro de Referência. Foi realizada a análise de conteúdo das entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Apesar de conflitos internos e restrições, estar na adolescência e/ou juventude vivendo com HIV, o processo de amadurecimento, trazido pela própria condição de soropositividade, impulsiona o(a) adolescente à busca de estratégias que propiciam melhor enfrentamento da sexualidade. Portanto, existe a necessidade de intervenções na saúde e sexualidade dessas pessoas. Descritores: Sexualidade; Adolescente; HIV; Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida.
Aim: to analyze the attention on health care employed by nurses at the reproductive planning, by family health teams from Juazeiro, Bahia. Method: qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study in which was used semi-structured interview with eight nurses from five Family Health Units, with the largest number of women at childbearing age. Results: scarcity and irregularity in the supply of the methods emerged, compromising the effectiveness and quality of reproductive planning. The instability of the educational activities pointed at women and/or couples uninformed about the use and benefits of these methods, revealing self-medication and search in pharmacies. Conclusions: the construction of an attention on health care that acts in the premises of the quality, effectiveness and equity can contribute to a more autonomous nursing that is also consistent with the needs of the population in reproductive planning. Objetivo: Conhecer situações de violência sofrida por mulheres em abortamento. Método: Pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva, realizada em maternidades públicas de Juazeiro-BA e Petrolina-PE. Utilizou-se a entrevista semiestruturada e análise do conteúdo temático para análise dos dados. Resultados: Identificou-se que as principais situações de violência obstétrica sofrida pelas mulheres foram decorrentes de entraves na comunicação: injurias verbais e omissão de esclarecimentos sobre sua condição de saúde, procedimentos e exames. Além da queixa de superlotação que, não tão raro, culminou em demora no atendimento e negligência. Conclusão: É imperioso que as maternidades citadas nesse estudo invistam em educação permanente voltada para atendimento ético e humano, assegurando os direitos humanos e reprodutivos das mulheres em abortamento.Descritores: Saúde da Mulher; Exposição a violência; Aborto
