En este trabajo revisamos las vinculaciones entre la enseñanza de la lengua y la literatura y el cuerpo de saberes que aborda la cultura visual. A partir de un breve repaso histórico de estas relaciones en el marco del sistema educativo argentino y un análisis de las directivas curriculares vigentes, proponemos una serie de ejes organizadores del trabajo docente para articular los conocimientos disciplinares en el marco de propuestas didácticas: la denotación/connotación, la estereotipia, la intertextualidad, la paratextualidad y la enunciación y retórica.
En este trabajo se analiza la presencia de elementos de la poética brechtiana en el teatro del autor británico Peter Shaffer. Un sector de la crítica ha postulado que las principales obras de Shaffer se encuentran profundamente influidas por la poética teatral de Bertold Brecht; esto se advertiría especialmente en el repertorio de técnicas del alemán que son utilizadas por el británico. Un sector minoritario de la crítica incluye la obra de Shaffer dentro de dentro de otras tradiciones como el drama poético, el teatro de la crueldad y el existencialismo. El objetivo de esta investigación es revisar los alcances de la poética de Brecht en torno el teatro shaferriano. Esto implica polemizar con el modo en que se suelen pensar las influencias en el campo de la producción artística así como en el modo en que ha sido leída la poética de Brecht y adjudicada a otros dramaturgos.
Si bien existen numerosos artistas que han cultivado obras literarias y plásticas en paralelo, poco se ha estudiado el modo en que sus producciones visuales se vinculan con la literaria y viceversa. En este artículo se analiza la relación entre los dibujos y la escritura de J. K. Rowling. Utilizamos elementos de la crítica genética y los estudios comparados para pensar lo que se dicen mutuamente las producciones visuales y literarias de esta autora sobre el universo ficcional de Harry Potter.

Revista de Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada, 25 (2016) cuestiones relacionadas con las tradiciones nacionales, la universalidad de algunos hechos literarios, el diálogo entre diferentes lenguajes, las fuentes, la traducción, por nombrar solo algunas cuestiones (Muñiz, 1989).Por otro lado, en las últimas décadas, los avances en los estudios sobre los procesos creativos han aportado una serie de reflexiones de interés para el desarrollo de los estudios comparativos. En particular, me interesa plantear un diálogo entre el comparatismo tradicionalmente definido y un enfoque que proviene de la filología: la genética textual, también llamada crítica genética. Esta mirada sobre la literatura, según creo, puede proveer observaciones metodológicas relevantes dado que plantea una concepción muy particular de la obra literaria con consecuencias que pueden enriquecer el trabajo del crítico. Como señala Muñiz (1989), existen corrientes dentro del comparatismo que se orientan al trabajo con la poética y la génesis de las obras -aunque estas últimas han sido menos desarrolladas o desestimadas por autores como Fokkema-; a partir de esta situación históricamente, proponemos acercar nuevamente al comparatismo y a los estudios de la génesis literaria. Recurriremos, por un lado, a una sucinta exposición de los principios teóricos y metodológicos de la genética textual; por otro, analizaremos un caso particular: el proceso escritural de la pieza teatral Amadeus, del dramaturgo inglés Peter Shaffer, que es objeto de investigaciones que desarrollo actualmente. Amadeus, estrenada en 1979 en el West End de Londres, posee un recorrido textual de diferentes versiones publicadas bajo las revisiones constantes de su autor. De estas versiones extraeremos algunos problemas o ejes de reflexión que permitirán plantear los aportes de la genética al comparatismo.
El objetivo de este trabajo es indagar en un tema que se presenta como inquietud en común para la representación artística: la descomposición de la naturaleza. Analizamos dos producciones contemporáneas: una proveniente de las artes visuales, las esculturas e instalaciones de Kathleen Ryan, y otra literaria, una novela de Samanta Schweblin. Desde geografías distantes, ambas artistas tematizan la descomposición en producciones artísticas que se sitúan frente a tradiciones visuales y literarias que las preceden. Sus obras se interrogan por el porcentaje de “lo natural” que persiste en el entorno que nos rodea así como también por las interrelaciones que hay entre los sujetos, objetos y entornos. Desde una perspectiva comparatista, el diálogo entre ambas muestra preocupaciones afines y resoluciones artísticas en sintonía.
